What fantasy thing would you like to happen to you?
I've always dreamt of waking in a magic forest. And I mean like, no explanation. Just Poof I'm there, kinda thing. I think a lot of it stems from games like Zelda or any RPG.
As someone with a progressive disease: healing magic. I would pay all the bullion and cattle and sacks of wheat necessary to heal, or at least regress this stupid thing.
I'd like minimum wage to be able to support my family, so that a job flipping burgers could actually feed us
Failing that, to live as a bunny in a cottagecore tree stump, spending my days slicing up strawberries like they're roasts, and baking pies with my neighbours
I'd like to be a peregrine falcon. No natural predator, able to soar above it all.
I'd also like to be wealthy enough, not in any unethical or greedy way, to have my own home by myself and not have to work, simply so I could enjoy the rest of my life in peace. No need for golden toilets and limousines, just the ability to get up in the morning and have peace and be free of fear of what is happening to me right now.
Hey, you can get those two extra inches with dedication and training! You just gotta start with the smaller plugs until your circumference can stretch 2 extra inches :D
Brain preserved, revived (not "uploaded"/copied!) by someone competent and caring (a science organization perhaps) in hundreds of years, somewhere that's not complete shit assuming there is such a place still. I wouldn't mind staying in the VR-jar for a while for a slow assessment, training, and introduction to the future world and brain fixing etc while building connections.
A new form of life. A deeper connection to technology does not mean I want to abandon nature. If anything I want more robust microbiomes than humans have and whatever techniques can be borrowed from nature (photosynthesis or creation of other organic molecules, connect to mycelium network etc) for homeostasis or environmental management/living conditions. Which would allow me to focus on hobbies while my body mostly maintains itself.
Ideally I could exist as something comparable to the size of a microwave but could connect to larger bodies if needed. Or as an extra observer/backup shift/co-pilot etc.
Star Trek's 24th century Earth sounds like a reasonably nice place. I doubt I'd qualify for Starfleet, and wouldn't try.
I just want to see what life is like for the average broken neurodivergent in that reality. Also, what's at the location of my current house in that reality? Same construction? Did a version of me live there? Was it there but replaced in the intervening 350 years? etc.
Honestly? I would like our earth - friendly technology online, ecological not total utopia but some Earth-first version of our world. All the housing, food, and energy generation done in some organic beautiful way, like growing your house, yes? Nearly unlimited energy generation, just because the sun shines and the wind blows clean water for all with the waste water used in some helpful way, no food insecurity for anyone.
I'd love to be teleported into the world of Breath of the Wild/Tears of The Kingdom, minus the apocalyptic elements. I'd choose to either live in Tabantha or Akkala. I've always preferred semi rural environments, so the desolate, relaxed atmosphere would be appealing to me. I'd love to be a Rito so that I could soar wherever I wanted to go!
Gonna sound weird, but the ability to change a person's age at will, with the ability to make the progression/regression either physical, mental, or both at once.
Imagine you have a co-worker who acting like a little kid. You could turn them into what they're acting like physically so they can suffer the indignity of knowing they're not supposed to be so young and helpless. Or follow an age regression storyline where your cheating partner gets turned into a helpless baby that you now get to take care of and embarrass as they still retain their mental state.
Also, imagine you and a friend are going to some event like a movie or a fair or something else where kids get cheaper tickets. You or your friend could be shrunk down to kid size and then all you would need to do is find a place to change back once inside. Saving money!
The possibilities are endless. Also, blame the fact that a lot of cartoons from the 90s onwards that I watch/watched in reruns have some form of age regression stock episode where one or more of the characters goes through age changing shenanigans for implanting this idea in my head.
