Because she tends to fight for things they people know to be true, but just have accepted to ignore because it makes their life simpler. Getting confronted with being a bad person tends to make people defensive, especially if it's a young girl doing that to "though" men. The worst thing about this, is that those who deserve to suffer the least, suffer the most. She is fairly vulnerable, and can't take what they will do to her. They will make an example of her.
Not going to lie, I really want to straight up nuke Israel at this point.

Echo chambers are shit, it's the reason the world is the way it is. If you want to sit in a circle and jerk off with people that share your opinion then be my guest, but to pretend it's a good thing is a bridge too far. Honest discourse and people checking each other is the foundational rhetoric of a democratic society, without it democracy dies.
