IDK, I think this is a great example of how insidious the republican propaganda truly is. Going by whats in the article, it seems like he really does love his wife. The issue seems to be that

Let’s assume he actually loves his wife, and then let’s assume she gets to stay, and gets her citizenship or a green card. Will he still support Trump after the third or fourth time ICE picks her up?
