More like sometime around 1971-1980. That's when the boomers started to become a major voting block and pull up the ladders behind them; promoting neoliberalism, privatisation, and the destruction of social programs that they benefited from, thus destroying wealth equality and the working class. Women entered the workforce en mass, and out sourcing started.

Corruption is like cancer. Without criminal convictions, and fines many times greater than the sum of the profits, the corruption will grow deeper and deeper until the host dies.

This is how it should be in a just world, but we do not live in one; it falls apart when you realise the rule of law is not a reflection of morality or ethics, and can be entirely corrupted by criminals with whom the rule of law only exists to use as a means of controlling and oppressing others.

I say fuck em. If you choose to be a politician, you should not be free from the consequences of your own actions, especially corruption. In fact, any corruption should land you in prison for life... but again, we do not live in a just world, and the only reason we even have basic human rights at all is because they were violently protested for, and 99% of the violence came from the state.

That's why they spent decades running the "war on terror" angle. To make the working class believe violence against oppressors is never justified.

Meanwhile the government has a monopoly on violence, and uses it whenever the political class, oligarchs, or corporations are threatened.

They probably created the video. Even if they didn't in this instance, the lies and propaganda they spew is no different.

Manufacturing stories and narratives out of thin air, that are the opposite of reality, is the same thing. Fox News is fascist state media; the entirety of senior leadership, and every mouthpiece, should spend the rest of their lives in prison.

America doesn't need weak, ineffectual pushback. It needs real journalists. You are defending oligarch-owned corporations who have directly enabled the rise of fascism and current coup.

When it comes to criminally corrupt untouchables, actually murdering them is perfectly reasonable.

Obviously I'd prefer for them to rot in prison for life, but murdering a murderer to stop them from murder is completely justified, and I'm tired of everyone acting like it's not.

The most fucked up part about this story is that hundreds of Israeli fascists literally stormed the military base the perpetrators were being imprisoned — committing domestic terrorism — in defence of the war criminals, demanding their release.

Israel is a fascist state because its founders spent the last century propagandising its citizens and the entire Jewish diaspora. It's not a surprise the Israeli majority think Palestinians are sub-human and their extermination is justified; that will not change for generations, and only after Israel is globally shunned, militarily neutered, required to return to its original borders, and pay to rebuild all of Palestines infrastructure.

Morals are like religion to the sociopathic political and capitalist class; just another tool you can use to lie, cheat, steal, control, and virtue signal.
