A cough in a movie means the character is going to die, always.
- And if a woman throws up in the morning, she's 100% pregnant.¹
  ¹ Unless the vomit comes directly after a scene of heavy drinking.
  
  The two things aren't mutually exclusive (even though they should be)
  
  50% chance she is drinking for 2
- Millions of diseases and every movie is coughs blood
  
  And if a character of childbearing age and physique is nauseous, they're pregnant.

I'm out of the loop, is it just someone being completely oblivious to the large coal plant in the background, or does the character have like a chronic illness causing them to cough?
