News Flash, there are other elections that happen in the US every year that are more influential and important for national issues than the presidency.

Maybe take your weird hatred of the failure-of-the-democratic-party-not-being-as-progressive-as-you-want energy and focus that on:

getting local city councilors, mayors and county clerks etc. elected who represent your political ideology,
getting state legislators and other officials elected who represent your political ideology,
getting judges elected (where applicable) who understand the codified and written law and are willing to execute it as written,
maybe even (SHOCK) getting congresspeople elected who match your political ideology.

I know this might be hard to understand, but there are a myriad of elected officials that comprise our federal system and focusing on THE PRESIDENCY alone will never make anything meaningfully change.
