maga neighbour came over and lost morale
  • There are parts of the country who's poverty level, and access to utilities, medical care, etc., literally is third world. Northern WV has a lot of that, for instances. There are whole towns without plumbing, paved roads, electricity, etc. People living in shacks, no education, no reasonable way to leave.

  • maga neighbour came over and lost morale
  • I have a neighbor who voted for Trump. He relies on aspects of medicaid, to get insulin, that the GOP have directly targeted for removal from what it will cover. I told him this, he didn't believe me. So I showed him it in writing from a GOP source. He said that Trump will find some way for people like him to get their insulin. They just want this particular way gone because it's a bad method. I even pointed out that there was zero discussion of changing these policies, to make them more sensible, or anything like that, just an outline that they plan on stopping that coverage. He just doubled down that he won't be abandoned, they aren't just getting rid of the coverage, they are getting rid of THAT SPECIFIC WAY OF DOING IT because it is inefficient, or whatever.

If you explained that tariffs would hurt their income, and employment, in a way they understood, they would just assume there was something being cooked up to make sure that didn't happen. Now that all the manufacturing companies, here, are demonstrating that there will be big losses of profit margin, and cutting compensation to workers, they are mad. However, I personally doubt they will stay mad, or mad enough, or that they won't just end up blaming Joe Biden for it.

  • Yep, it's pretty normal
  • And mustard, and arugula, and inconveniently timed salute, and, and, and, and...

Spent a similar amount of time on this shit as him destroying Libya because they actually went to not accepting the petro-dollar for their oil. As soon as he was out though, that faded away and became a call back when they were running out of other BS. Further rhetoric, communique, etc showed that was actually what they would have done, but, ya, democrat did it. 🤷‍♂️

  • No sex. No dating. No marriage. No children. Interest grows in 4B movement to swear off men
  • That solves the US, for a while. The population growth is slowing globally. When Immigrants arrive in countries who's majority populations are in, or nearing, decline, their family size adjusts to the local average in a couple generations. Bottom line is that they need people to start making more babies, everywhere. Those at the top do not give a shit about expelling immigrants for real. Industrialists don't care where their cheap labor comes from. However, they have entered a marriage with a highly xenophobic voter base to stay on top.

  • No sex. No dating. No marriage. No children. Interest grows in 4B movement to swear off men
  • conservative leadership want women to be popping out babies as fast as they can, without regards to their own well being. That is all the top cares about. The global population growth is slowing, many places, and demographics, have either plateaued, or are in decline. This is bad news for capitalism. Like it is fundamental that both the cheap labor underclass, and the consumer class, continue to expand.

While there is anti-sexual free expression talk in the movement, once you get into the inter-personal level, especially of the followers, they only want that freedom to be the choice of men. They want to fuck as many women as possible, they want women to fuck them at their demand, no matter the relationship status, without any plans to continue with that woman in the future. They want to both hit up tinder, or the bar, or whatever, see a woman, go up to them, and get casual sex from them, without being turned down, and the barefoot, and pregnant, home maker, wife, in the house.

The bottom line is, they want women to be anything they want, when they want, without resistance. They want to OWN them, own them all. They yearn for the years of a "surplus population", withering in work houses, and the ability to own other people, for labor, for sex, for anything they want. If something they do does not violate the ethics of "I can, and will, exercise power, over others", then they don't see it as hypocrisy. Whatever morals, or ethics, they claim, mean nothing, unless their proclamations means to gain, and exercise, power over others.

  • Biggest concerns
  • correct, in my area it is these people, and laborers currently getting ready to lose a bunch of compensation, due to the tariffs their companies are gearing up for. This is probably the first time they have called for cuts, and, instead of just getting record profits, can demonstrate they are going to lose a whole lot of their profit margin. Then there are the far more rare people like a few of the people are here, who are disabled, in poverty, and getting ready to have life saving medicine pulled from them.

  • Comedians
  • All of these comedians who whine about not being able to say things, and being so brave to go ahead with their bigoted material, all just wish they were Lenny Bruce. Lenny was funny, said the truth, and while some stuff wouldn't fly today, he was very progressive for the 50's, and early 60s. He literally had police camp out his shows to arrest him as soon as he started saying something they didn't like. He was actually getting beat-up by police, expelled from countries, and making land mark civil rights law, because of his routines.

  • The algorithm
  • I have done this. I have told them not to post me shit from channels, and topics, over, and over. Best it seems it can go is like 2 months. When I tried deleting my history, and turning it off, it got SO MUCH WORSE. Even making a new account was orders of magnitude worse. As sad as it is, I am actually getting a better result... I have long been at the point where I do not click on things I am not familiar with, or without suggestion from a trusted source. So I just don't look at recommended anymore. Just look for the indicator of new stuff from my subs, or look at things I specifically search for.

  • "it's making me uncomfortable"
  • Nah, I am disagreeing with how you are using the word deserved. You earned it through your actions. If your actions mean I need to do something violent to you, you fucking earned it, therefore you deserved it. It isn't that hard.

  • "it's making me uncomfortable"
  • This doesn't mean they don't deserve it. It just means you are sad it had to come to this. The fact that you had to resort to violence, due to how awful they are, means they deserved it. Had they not deserved it, you wouldn't have great cause to be violent. Unless you are becoming violent towards people that would respond to lesser input, they deserved it.

  • well at least the cycle has stopped
  • It is both.

A LOT of the US voters want exactly what Trump is saying. 77 million adults heard all of his fascist rants, and said "That's my guy!" Also the majority of people who voted Biden, then sat out this one, are older, white, men.

The DNC also aren't messaging to the people who don't like the GOP, they are messaging towards those who are statistically most likely to have voted for them in the past, and are most likely to vote in general. They also are watching what the GOP is saying, seeing the rabid fervor their bigotry elicits, and work elements of that into their messaging, because it's working for the GOP, thus it's working.

  • Anon is jealous
  • She wasn't a teacher, or working for a school. She was working for some factory in Tenn. and quit, which she was already preparing to do, when she did that interview. These rumors are just fiction.
