No?
3 0 ReplySorry, all you get is proof of brain worms and essential oils.
17 0 ReplyProof of vaccinations are now stamped by RFK Jr. himself.
17 0 ReplyAmerica doesn't have the capacity to track that in any meaningful way. COVID was proof of this.
7 0 ReplyI'm sure the new government will enforce that.
1 0 ReplyThis would be about other governments on earth enforcing that. Which really does seem sensible at this point, even if only to make a statement.

Sooo, anyone want to take bets that Bird Flu is going to be the next pandemic?
55 0 ReplyThe government has decided that pandemics are a hoax and as such do not exist.
29 0 ReplyOff to the gulag, I go.

Avian flu thankfully didn't become a major pandemic in times past due to luck and measures taken. But SARS in 2003 could have become a major pandemic... because COVID-19 is a variant of the 2003 SARS...

Am I the only one who thinks companies providing healthcare and life saving medicines shouldn't be fucking publicly traded?? They need to focus on helping humanity, not the fucking bottom line go up or whatever.
75 0 ReplyWell yes that's obvious
It's supposed to be publicly funded, not traded
Someone a long time ago must have misheard
42 0 ReplyExcept it's actually the best of both worlds for the rich - as far as I know, a lot of these companies are publicly traded AND receive public funding.

These companies are huge, and know how to lobby the government. It seems to be the wrong industry to piss off.

26 0 ReplyPharmaceuticals are an important component of modern life. We really need them now more than ever. They are a good thing.
Their capitalist greed and the big money that runs them is also doing all it can to suck every last cent out of the public.
Unfortunately both things can be true.

That's one thing I'm putting some hope in. Tariffs and stupid shit like Worm Boy running our national health infrastructure into the ground benefit no one. Not big companies, not us little guys. I'd hope these big companies will lobby hard to mitigate the stupidity that is bearing down on us.
18 0 Replyknow how to lobby the government.
I'm thinking this may be how it'll work. More like "bribe" though, and Trump is probably doing this on purpose to coerce companies for bribes. Aka, racketeering on the highest level.

27 0 ReplyThis is farcical. Operation Warp Speed (fast development of Covid vaccines) was one of the few good things that Trump 1.0 did.
19 0 ReplyFrom tragedy to farce as you give Trump credit for the work of Nobel prize winning medical scientists Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman. Bloodly hell we are moving towards being North Korea.

16 0 ReplyYeah fuck giving him credit for what scientists did.
13 0 ReplyTrump authorized and funded OWS. Obviously he didn't do the actual science. It's JFK and the moon landing. JFK didn't build the rockets or fly in them, but the project as a whole happened because of his getting behind it.
