You're spreading straight up false info here about Pop_OS. My kernel on Pop_OS is updated quite frequently and it supports my ~2 year old AMD card flawlessly. My current kernel version, 6.17.4, is about two weeks old...
Exactly. I'm not the type that thinks that's not a real difference. Open corruption shifts the political culture in very toxic and destructive ways. When people no longer think corruption is something to hide, the floodgates open and anything goes.
They're literally just trying to annoy people. The LLM thing is a hollow excuse. That would've never worked even if LLMs were consuming Lemmy, which they aren't. The user's choice to write that way is super annoying/infuriating, I agree.
