it's very much borrowed from one of the reddit subs i frequent(ed) often, but the idea is to share what we're playing weekly and hopefully create discussions around those games (or simply have a sort of "check-in").

Still vanilla. I've only just started using logistic bots properly, converting the factory from centralised to modular production. I'll give mods a try sometime soon but there's so much possibility for expansion in the base game, who knows how long it'll take.
I installed the Space Exploration and Krastorio 2 mods and I haven't even gotten to space yet on my year old save lol. It's like Factorio x3 in difficulty.
Space exp seems pretty amazing. Before factorio I was mostly pouring time into dyson sphere program, it's strangely similar.
Ugh I know the day I start Factorio is the day my life as I know it ends... not sure if I'm dreading it or looking forward to it

Hades! It's such a fun and addicting game. I am trying to 100% the game, so I have made a couple hundred escape attempts with no escapes as of yet.
Tears of the Kingdom, and when I get burnt out, either Persona 5 or Hitman III.
I've been playing TotK like it's my second job since day 1, and I still don't feel close to maxing out on its content. Breath of the Wild was my favorite game of all time, and somehow Tears of the Kingdom is even better.

My 7 year old loves watching the gameplay as well. So when we need a break from this heat wave she tells me she wants to watch zelda. Been a ton of fun with her.
So when shes around it's main quest mostly. I would be ostracized if I did a temple without her.
When it's just me I work on grinding out shrines or lightroots or armor upgrades usually.
I got Tears of the Kingdom for my birthday, so I’ve been enjoying that this week. I’m thinking about picking up Ozymandius on steam at some point for a nice 4X-Lite game.
Zelda-tears for me - it's been out for 21 days and I've played for 70 hours @__@ but I feel like I haven't really gotten far through the whole game, and I want it to last forever, it's the best <3

I just got my Steam Deck and have loved playing through BoTW via CEMU with mods (playing as Linkle!)
Right now I am trying to get modded Skyrim going on my 64gb Steam Deck, since I haven't played before and love fantasy settings!
I still remember begging my parents to buy me Skyrim for the Xbox 360 during the launch of the game! That was almost 12 years ago! Oh my! I also remember watching this guy called Utorak and having his own rendition of the trailer.
Install a 1TB SSD in there, and fill it with mods. It's pretty easy to upgrade yourself.
Oh when I can pick one up, I will!
But for now, the 64gb with a few hefty microSD's is what I will be using

Just finished Dusk yesterday and almost done with the first Sacred game. I've always liked it more than Diablo.
I have been playing Tears of the Kingdom, but when my wife has been playing I have been switching in between Serious Sam 4 and the original Commander Keen.
Commander Keen takes a little to get used to the game feel and style, but I am actually enjoying it pretty well. You can feel a lot of what would go into id shooters. Mazelike levels with a series of key cards, but on a 2d platformer instead of a fps.
On the MMO side, Eve and FFXIV.
On the single player side, been playing some "Coffee Talk," "Live A Live," and "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney" (via emulator), all on my Steam Deck.
Splatoon! The new season is out, so I'm looking forward to grinding my catalogue and getting used to the new stages. This season features a lot of Nintendo game consoles for your locker, like the "Intended Entertainment System"... love it.

Death Stranding. Was sceptic for a long time, if the concept of the game is for me and motivating enough to keep me playing. Picked it up during a sale recently and really got hooked. With not much time to game it is nice to deliver a few packages and be able to quit again. Story is so cryptic that it feels like it does not matter if you forget something after a week long break and the atmosphere of the game feels really nice.
I had the same experience. The way people described it I put it off for a long time, but when I finally started I was also hooked. Put like >90 hours on my first playthrough, which is pretty unusual for me.
Yeah, exactly. I am at about 35 h into the game and so far I do not feel any kind of burnout coming. It is so satisfying to drive along your own roads and unlocking new blueprints from satisfied costumers. Hope this keeps going.
Working on Dying Light 2. Waited for awhile for it to go on sale once and have some confirmed reports working with Proton, so partway through the campaign now!
Actually been playing Assassin's Creed 2. Got the Ezio collection on sale and been enjoying revisiting an old classic. I forgot how much fun the legacy AC games were.
Yeah, I do miss those old titles, before “RPG Creed” took over. Hopefully the new title brings the series back to form, emphasising stealth and parkour rather than combat.

Trying to finish up Tears of the Kingdom! Once I do that I'm planning to get back into Horizon Zero Dawn on my PC. I was enjoying it on my Steam Deck while out of the country, but got to a point where it would crash whenever I tried to load a save.
Beyond the Retroid Flip I just stuffed with games, I've been on a Metroidvania kick lately. So I've been playing Afterimage, which is gigantic, and Astliba, which is endearingly janky and reminiscent of Falcom's PC days.
Also I found Siralim Ultimate which is like, Dragon Quest Monsters x3000, I'm glad I found it now and not in the midst of grad school or it'd be soooo Joever for me lmao
Doom 2016 on the steam deck. Trying to learn how to aim with the trackpad and gyro after years of kb+m. Seems to be going okay so far.
The gyro can be a little difficult to get used to at first. In my opinion it is best used for fine adjustments. So you'd use the trackpad or joystick for the big adjustments, then fine tune with the gyro.

This is what I've read in most places, I find using the gyro a little harder than getting used to the trackpad (the fine adjustment with gyro takes a while for me and is a little awkward while the big trackpad movements are fine) but hopefully it is just a matter of practice.
Yeah, I sadly had to turn down the difficulty to get accustomed to the trackpad. I was getting killed all the time without it, hopefully things get better!
Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal here as well, also on the deck. First time through, slow going. When I get frustrated with one I switch to the other.

Diablo 4, enjoying it so far but their MTX shop is a joke. You want 25€ for a basic looking set of armor? I don't think so.
Season 2 of Limbus Company also just launched, finally beat 3-22 right before the servers went down. Really loving that game, the characters quickly grew on me. I play a few gacha's (Arknights, GBF, GI) but Limbus is the only one I'd recommend to friends. You can pretty much farm every identity without spending a dime and FOMO is pretty low. Helps that Project Moon is an Indie dev I guess.
I've been playing GTA RP, RDR2 RP, and Terraria with Calamity and Thorium mod, although lately I've gotten Distracted with Stable Diffusion, so I haven't been playing much these last few days.
Replaying The Talos Principle in preparation for the second one coming out! I've finished playing through the base game this week, now I'm working on the DLC.
oh Talos Principle was SO good at training you to follow the rules then requiring you to break them.
Yes! And I'm a sucker for existential plotlines. And somehow the "when does an AI become a person" plot seems a lot more relevant now than it did in 2014.
I tried getting into Talos, but I was stubborn and wanted to complete all the hard puzzles as I went along. Some of those puzzles are crazy, I ended up getting frustrated and out down the game.
I really should get back into it; I hear there’s a lot of secrets in the game that you can find if you pay attention to what’s going on and read everything.
I am deep into the System Shock remake, and I am absolutely loving it.
I'm always playing Minecraft (anyone here looking to start a vanilla SMP?), but my brother just convinced me to buy this game called Mechabellum, which is a pretty cool mech-themed auto-battler. It's been quite a bit of fun figuring out unit combos and counters and everything.
i'll start, i'm playing Devil May Cry 5, i wanted to see what all the fuss was about action/gameplay-wise before starting FF XVI in a few weeks time (which I'm extremely hyped for!).

What would you compare DmC5 with? I've always been curious!
DMC5 is a character action game. It's hard to compare to other stuff that isn't Character Action, but other examples would be Bayonetta, God Hand, Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, and Nier Automata. That last one is the least character action IMO because part of what makes CA CA is that you get ranked during combat, which Nier Automata doesn't do - but that also makes it a good start into the genre. I'd also recommend MGR:R for that, it's pretty chill as far as ranking you.
also I'm using "Character Action" as it's the most popular naming convention, but I prefer "Stylish Action." I feel like it captures the vibe more. it's about absolutely styling on your enemies in the coolest ways possible via an open sandbox of tools.
Terraria and Breath of the Wild. I wish I had played them sooner but I had never played the Zelda games before but now that I have gotten into it I have had LOTS of fun. As of Terraria, I have played it for a while but it hasn’t gotten old yet so I’m going to play as long as I feel like.

i know i tried mgsv first (as it was the only one i had initially) and i was completely lost story-wise, so i'm playing them in "chronological" order now.
I've started MGSV GZ and TPP about two months ago and I've enjoyed them. Earlier I played Sniper Elite (V2, 4 and 5) and I looked for something else that scratched that stealth itch and MGSV was often recommended so I got it.
I'm almost done with TPP, but there are so many things that I don't understand yet about the characters and their stories which made me eager to learn the story in its entirety, I also want to enjoy the whole series seeing that I've liked it so far so obviously I've started with MGS1, though I only did so yesterday and the last time I was playing a few hours ago I was still (slight spoiler) ::: spoiler spoiler stuck fighting the Psycho Mantis heh. :::

Firing up No Man's Sky for the first time on my M1 Mac. Looks nice. I really enjoyed Subnautica, so this promises to be good.

I loved Subnautica too. NMS at this point is like Subnautica x10 as far as content goes. Actually I could have said that the last time I played it which was over a year ago and I know they've likely only released more huge updates since then. You've probably heard the story of the worst launch ever and then total redemption and it couldn't be more true. Enjoy!
I haven't seen anyone mention fighting games yet so I guess I'm going first. Will probably grind Guilty Gear Strive this weekend, as I don't have much free time for longer gaming sessions and every set is like 3-5 minutes each at most. I'll also try to get back into Dragon Age: Origins, if time permits.
Speaking of fighting games, I'm also interested in getting Street Fighter 6, as a friend I frequently play against got it, but I just can't justify paying 60€ for a game nowadays. I have so many other games on my backlog that I'd rather wait for a sale. But I played the open beta and really liked it a lot. The game feels more fluid than 5 and the new Drive mechanic feels way better than the previous V mechanic.
I've been mainlining Zelda TotK since it came out and now I'm going to mainline SF6. I was a big fan of SFV. I'm going to have to split my time between the 2 somehow.

I just bought the BioShock collection for $10 on sale and I'm playing BioShock 1 for the first time. The game is a little outdated but the story so far is really interesting to me, I love the world building.
I can't wait to hear what you thought about the 3rd game, Infinite. I loathed the 2nd, but 1 and 3 to me are amazing.

Unfortunately, the Bioshock Remastered games which replaced the originals have broken AI, Splicers that are on fire are supposed to find water to put it out letting you shock them.
I recently found a good Wine wrapper for SWAT4 so I'm gonna be reliving my childhood a bit. Might jump back into Lost Judgment and try to finally beat it before I get sucked into another RGG game.
SWAT 4 is intense man. It's so immersive and you're incredibly driven to get full non-lethal on all suspects, to track down every last hostage, to get all your guys out safe and sound. It captures the RL experience of boring procedural work 99% of the time punctuated by incredibly fast combat where one gunshot can kill you stone dead, and grenades are both limited and incredibly valuable.
once my finals are done i'm taking a one and a half hour walk to the nearest videos game store and getting TOTK and that'll probably be me sorted for the rest of the month at least

Been playing a lot of WoW recently, really loving all the content in Zandalar! Most fun I've had playing an MMO in a while.
On the single-player side of things, I played through Beasts of Maravilla Island! It's short, but sweet, and only $10 on Steam. It scratches the same itch as Pokémon Snap, and I've been desperate for new content like it since New Pokémon Snap isn't likely to get any new DLC... Ever.
Mainly Path of Titans dino adventures with friends right now, though I do want to get back into the private investigations in Shadows of Doubt.
I recently finished Hardspace: Shipbreaker, which I quite enjoyed, even though dissecting the ships felt a bit tedious towards the end. Now I'm playing Warhammer 40k: Boltgun, and it's amazing if you're into dakka and bloody gore-explosions.

I've gotten way into Pathfinder 2e recently, been mucking about with the rulebooks and building a homebrew setting. It's been a lot of fun thus far, the system is crunchy but sensible.
I absolutely love 2e. It's an incredible system! I'm GMing tomorrow night, and had a nice game last night. It's great stuff. I've been reading through a starfinder AP for a game I suspect I'll start in a year or so. That system isn't anywhere as well refined, but it's still fun in it's own right.
Basically rotate between diablo 3, brawlstars, and a random word finding game that i forgot the name of.
Just finished up Wall World. Looking for my next hook. Probably gonna play more Rogue Legacy 2 as it's absolutely beautiful and fantastic!
Played Warhammer 3 with a friend last weekend. We did Chaos factions (I was chaos dwarves and he was one of the Daemons of Chaos). It was a pretty good time. Also do a little world of warships legends with some friends on Xbox. The last game I beat was the Metroid Prime remaster.

Another replay of Shadow of the Colossus and also started Zelda 2 on NES. SOTC is always a favorite. Zelda 2 I'm a bit iffy on after really enjoying the original, but I'm still early. The stark change in style and gameplay direction threw me off in the beginning but I'm hoping to adjust.
Although, this week it's been hard for me to find time to play anything.

I was not a fan of turn based jrpgs before but this game is winning me over with great writing, actually fun gameplay and suprisingly alright gacha implementation (got my team up with 20$ which is a fair deal!)
I'm on world 2 in the story and there's just so much to do in this game I only wish it supported a controller on Android/iOS.
Also been enjoying Star Rail! I find the mechanics more my liking compared to Genshin. Are you looking forward to any of the upcoming characters? I'm saving up for Silver Wolf right now myself. I just like her look.
I'm quite happy with my current setup but ive been getting lucky with draws so I'll definitely give silver wolf a shot as I've got loads of crystals from the main missions / battle pass.
There's just so much content I'm trying to get through that I'm still working on my party. I really dig thr simulated world stuff feels like a rogue like with a lot of replay value.
Really well made game which makes you wonder how much better or worse itd be if it was a full feature game not a gacha.
AC Valhalla. Got it on PS4 during the last sale and it's honestly one of the best ACs in recent years. I liked Origins but never got on with Odyssey.
Odyssey was so bloated. I enjoyed much of my time with it, but I was so angry when I finished the "campaign" and realized the true conclusion was locked behind completing the assassinations, which required just endless grinding.
Bouncing between a few games right now. Playing a couple of gacha games on my phone, Apex and Mortal Kombat 11 on Xbox, and getting into Age of Wonders 4 on the steam deck.

I absolutely feel this. I don't have nearly as much time as I used to to actually sit down at my PC and sink hours into something. Unfortunately I don't enjoy many mobile games though, except maybe for OldSchool Runescape.

one thing i definitely hope for is a space to develop for shorter but more hand-crafted AAA releases again. it kinda sucks that experiences of that kind have been almost entirely relegated to the indie scene for the past few years due to how resource intensive AAA development is now, lol

Just got back into playing myself. Took a long break, but the new patch lured me back lol. The map changes are pretty crazy ngl. Theres no way those portals are balanced.
They're balanced by the fact my team doesn't use them, lmao.
Tears of the Kingdom has also sucked me in. It's not quite a 10/10 for me, and in some ways I think looking back I slightly prefer the more austere and "pure" BotW, but the new temples, abilities and shrines are really fun. Great game.
Been having a blast with TotK too! I was kinda surprised how well it sucked me in and captured that feeling of exploration again

I’m working through a backlog of playstation games, so currently working on the platinum trophy for Persona 4 Golden. I did p3p when both were released and played the first three games in the dark pictures anthology in between since they were on sale and I wanted to play something that would require fewer hours to complete.
Been playing a moderately modded MechWarrior 5. The game just isn't as fun without the Clans and their cool technology, so I added the “Yet Another Clan Mech” mod which adds them, but now the game gets crashy whenever any Clan 'Mechs show up. Dunno why. Hoping for another MechWarrior game some time soon.
It's not really the same thing, but I've been excitedly following the news for armored core 6. Been so long since there was a new installment! I played the crap our of the PS1/PS2 releases
I bought Gris after the Neva reveal trailer. It's truly one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, and the score is just as noteworthy.
i finally played it last week, while i was just in the right (or rather i guess, wrong) state of mind and it was such a wonderful experience. i can't wait to see what Neva is like, it gave me some Princess Mononoke vibes for some reason

I've been focusing most of my game time on Persona 5 Royal. It is really great. Over the weekend I played the Quarry with my family and wrapped up Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
I've been playing a lot of the Medieval Madness and Han Solo tables in Pinball FX3 on my steam deck. Set up the gyro to allow me to nudge the table and it's really helping me get high scores
I'm mostly playing Battle Brothers and a little Orx. No matter how many tactical games i try, i keep coming back to Battle Brothers. Orx is fun Carcassonne Solitaire.
Grinding at the new Savage raids in Final Fantasy XIV until my fingers bleed. I want to see if I can get three clears week one this time!
Assassin's Creed: Black Flag
I've always been a casual gamer at most, so never really got into playing bigger games until I met my wife. So now I play the games with a good story that she's already played. Played Odyssey a while back, which I loved, so I've gone back a few because I remember her enjoying it not long after we got together.
It's looking pretty dated, and Ubisoft have stripped out pretty much all of the online stuff now, but the basic game is still playable, and I'm enjoying it a lot.
I just finished a Civ 5 relapse (can't get 6 to run), so I'm on the new system shock right now.
I highly recommend it. It is both very faithful and much more accessible. More than anything, it perfectly captures the feeling of playing the first game, where it seems that you're just a pest, scurrying around this huge structure trying to defeat something so far beyond you it seems like a mouse trying to kill a whale.
Cyberspace is...kinda boring though TBH. Its faithful, but...meh. I'd recommend playing at 3 combat, 2 puzzles, and 1 cyberspace for a first run.

Story sucks. Everything else doesn't. Luckily Nintendo knew this was coming and made the B button able to skip a lot of dialogue. Too bad most of the cutscenes aren't skippable unless they repeat.

Speedrunning Tears of the Kingdom. The community for that is a bit over-focused on any% in my opinion, but exploring master sword rta route options has been really fun. MSRTA starts at new game, ends at getting the master sword. First known run of the category was 2:10:36 which means sub-2 should come fairly easily. For comparison, 2:30 was a goal time for master sword rta in Breath of the Wild for quite a while.
Also sometimes working on my casual file for it, I haven't quite finished all the quests yet.
I’ve been making my way through the STEINS;GATE 0 visual novel, and I’ve been having a great time. It’s effectively replaced watching TV/anime for me; I turn on my nvidia shield, stream the game, and off I go.

DayZ. Bought it like 2 years ago, but only played like 30 hours. Dropped it because for me it was really hard at the beginning when I played solo. Maybe I watch some tutorials this time for an easier start.
I could never be good at DayZ but I’ve met some good people over the game. At my job as well I was able to convince some of my coworkers to try it out and they enjoyed it! Nowadays, I mainly just play on community servers and custom maps like Esseker (rather small but more interactions). I also watch SourSweet and TheRunningManz on YouTube for their DayZ content. Never heard of those Content Creators. Will definitely check them out. I mainly watch "JLK". Its like watching a Movie in DayZ. He´s mainly the Reason, why im coming back to DayZ. Is it still a thing to install the DayZ Launcher for Mods and Servers, or is there a another Program to use?

i finally started playing cyberpunk after a year of owning it. glad to report i only ran into game crashing bugs twice over 80hrs of gameplay. I've noticed a bunch (prob 20ish) of minor bugs related to elevators and summoning cars. also some light fortnite when my coworkers are bored
Got burned out from the Lost Ark grind. Played a bit of GW2, but SWTOR is currently hitting all the right notes for me.
I got a second hand xbone at the start of the year so I've got a lot of game pass to try out. I've been playing power wash simulator recently, it's nice and chilled, therapeutic to calm down before bed
I'm playing Mech Arena and that's gonna be my go-to game for a while. It's exactly what it sounds like. It's one of those F2P games that tries to get you addicted and spend loads of money. I'm sure the game is almost entirely supported by whales. I just watch the voluntary ads to get my little rewards.

I just tried the demo for Tiny Thor - it's a retro platformer and it was gooood. The gameplay is fun and the enemies are unique.

Diablo 4 officially launches for everyone on the 6th, but early access released yesterday for Twitch streamers and people willing to pay Blizzard a premium to start playing it early. I tend to play different games on a rotation based on what I feel like playing, so I tend to bounce around a bit.
I should wrap up Pokemon Violet... pretty close to the end of the main story. I'll probably get that knocked out over the weekend. Funnily enough, Nintendo actually sent me an email encouraging me to complete the game which actually asked me if was stuck. Ugh. I've played these games since the very beginning. I know what I'm doing. I'm taking my time because I'm a busy working adult.

Rift Breaker with a side of BattleTech (BTA 2062 mod), CoreKeeper, and some Stoneshard if I want to suffer.

I keep a couple in rotation that I switch between in a session. Right now I'm playing through Arkham City for the first time (I'm a patient gamer) with City Skylines as a backup.
Great game. Don't miss out on Arkham Origins too. It's often overlooked.
Going to be playing V Rising tomorrow with some friends. I've never played it, but they are excited about some content that dropped recently. I'm looking forward to it!
Oh man I played Inscryption last year and absolutely adored it! Just remember you're supposed to lose several times throughout the game, but the payoff is worth it! The story is decent too, but I kinda found the acting in the cut scenes a bit cheesy. Definitely thought the first act was the strongest though.
I'm playing through othercide finally. I just love the art style and now that I'm getting a good handle on the mechanics it's getting really fun.
Like a lot of others, Tears of the Kingdom. Been really enjoying being back in Hyrule.
I don't play stalleris regularly, but every other year or so I buy all the DLCs I missed and start a game. All the crisis' have come and gone and I'm just mopping up a war.
Is the newest DLC with leaders worth getting? I've heard very mixed things about it
I think it is a good addition. The council gives a better roleplay representation of your government than I recall before. The paragons that occasionally shows up can be interesting and powerful leaders.
But again, I haven't played for long time so not a lot to draw comparison to.
I really wanted to play the new Co-op mode with my friend where we both share the same empire, since he's pretty new to the game and this is a great way to teach the mechanics.
Unfortunately it's so buggy that we can't even get out of the early game (2240s). There are just so many Desyncs that it's pretty much impossible to have a session longer than 15 minutes.
Yea for some reason everyone making games like that always sucks at multiplayer. The Civilization series are also terrible at it.
Oh nice, I actually hadn't noticed that they added coop. I could certainly use an extra hand right now as I'm just stuck on playing whack-a-mole with the remnants of the war-in-heaven losers. So much border gore, closed borders, and million tiny fleets everywhere unexpected and recapping their territory. This was the part I didn't miss, and why I've never finished a game :)
Hoping to have some time for Necesse this week! Its a bit underrated and still in early access, but sooo much fun!
Saw someone doing a Papers Please playthrough and got the urge to replay it again. Trying to go kinda hardcore by not making any mistakes but ive already reset day 5 like 3 times haha
I finished Above Snakes in 18.5 hours and very much enjoyed it. I'd say the game is a 7.5/10. They clearly ran out of time and/or budget, but they had good sales, so some content patches have been promised - and they already did multiple quick bugfix releases.
Now it's back to Rust, as usual.
Tears of the Kingdom, been playing it non-stop. I was playing Roots of Pacha before totk came out and I might take a break to play again this coming week.
Just finished Jet Island (Spiderman webswinging meets hoverboard in VR) and am now playing Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency (VR robot murder simulator). Both are excellent VR games on PC
Switching between TOTK and M&B: Bannerlord. Trying a Sturgia all infantry run in the latter. Also WOULD be playing more Hell Let Loose if not for the tragic Update 14,
I just bought Silica and Gunner, HEAT, PC!, which have both been pretty cool so far. Both are early access games that I wanted to support.
Silica has way more to it than I expected, and I'm excited to play more (hopefully with friends, at some point).
GHPC is sort of like single player (for now) War Thunder, with a pretty cool simulation of Cold War era tanks and ballistics while still being fairly accessible. One interesting thing it does: the tank commander will speak to you (which is where the title of the game comes from), and it will get increasingly more tense and eventually turn into panicked screams, depending on the situation.
I'm playing these on Linux, and I have a weird audio issue with GHPC. Nobody else seems to experience this, and it doesn't happen on my Steam Deck.
I’ve been playing Mount and Blade II Bannerlord lately on the steam deck and it’s been a blast! It literally runs it perfectly and the controls are really well done. It keeps me stay awake at nights when my wife is resting and it is my turn to take care of our 2 weeks old newborn. The only bad thing I could think of is how the fan can get a bit louder but it is design to do so (Valve sent me a the loud fan version but planning on getting the quieter one from iFixit in the distant future). I’ve been trying to play Bannerlord with an overhaul mod like Realm of Thrones but it seems to be having problem with Linux and having an infinite loading screen problem. Some mods that are on the steam workshop do work though! Also, hooray! I’m already loving this new website!

This applies to me as well. I'm very excited. AC2 was one of my first games on a disc. Regrettably, I never got to play the other games when they released. Are you planning on getting it on PC or console?

Been playing Honkai: Star Rail and Tears of the Kingdom at the same time like a maniac. I'll probably burn out on both and wander off.
The fun part is Star Rail almost becomes an idle game, eventually, because you can just set up auto battles to grind resources and set it off to the side to do its thing. Is this real gaming? I dunno, but it has pretty graphics.
Fiiiiinally starting to get a little bit burnt out on totk so I am currently pretty into rain world and Spelunky 2! Both great but brutally hard games. Been having a ton of fun with them.
Also been playing opus magnum on and off which has been very fun
Started playing Gnosia on my Switch. It's basically a Scifi werewolf game with Visual Novel elements and has a overarching plot.
I've been meaning to pick up Gnosia! I'll get to it...someday, but it's right up my alley in terms of style and subject matter.
Been grinding out CS:GO again. The news of counter-strike 2 has put my friends and me back on the hook!
My D&D group is taking a two-week break (responsibilities and all that) so I've been playing through Honkai: Star Rail. I'm just about caught up on the main storyline.

Depends on my mood, I do both. My favorite mod is krastorio 2, with the mods that the k2 people recommend along it. (Alien biomes etc).
I haven't made it very far into space exploration, maybe it was too difficult for me or I didn't like the balancing? I will try it again in the future.
I finished warptorio 2, it's very cool, but you need a bit of Factorio experience for it I think. Also you need to warp manually all the time because it sends so many biters otherwise.
