I'm not antisemitic and I think circumcision is wrong. It's sexual assault, normalized.
I get the traditional and cultural reasons why it was done, but that time is gone.
I think historically, intersex people would have an operation to assign a single gender. Nowadays, we wait, as it is considered cruel to assume. Why is it different for religion? Why do we have an exception for people who are not medically trained to perform what is essentially an operation.
The only reason it is tolerated and legal and common is due to cultural memory. If some new religion required all children to have their appendix removed preventively, we would not do that.

So can I sue my parents for circumcision now? Or rather sue the U.S. government for allowing genital mutilation to children. The rate for adult males in the U.S. is around 80% of the population, and new borns is declining quickly. About 100 million men.
Let's say we sue for $100,000 a piece, which I would consider a low settlement for a government allowing mutilation of its population. What's that.. $10 trillion dollars or so?
I figure they would claim the department of health isn't a basis for legitimate information to warrant a legal case.

Honestly, anyone who is influenced by this absolute bullshit was probably already taking horse dewormer or pet drips behind the neck from the farm/feed store anyway.
Nah, their patent on acetominaphen is expired, so they have little real interest in defending it today. Slap another brand on their various meds that don't contain it, and call it a day.
People who believe the administration and drop Tylenol for Motrin, Kenvue is happy either way.
Also they continue to own the brand that is demonized by the administration that some people will stick with precisely because this administration demonized it.
Also reap a bump of people stockpiling because they think the government might take it away.
This wouldn't be "defending it" like a copyright claim. This would be suing for damages. It doesn't matter how much they care about the brand. They'd sue to get money based on a loss of potential sales (future and present) and any other harm done.
I could see them not wanting to rock the boat, but I don't think it's a smart play. They'll go down either way if the Fascists want, and they clearly don't care about them enough to not damage them.
