The person in the photo is weak not because he cries on TV, but because he entirely argues in bad faith, has little idea what he actually believes, and is fully engaged in a culture war, with little focus except fearmongering and resisting anything that might make the world somewhat lively in a crazed aspiration to “rebuild” western civilization.
This meme is sexist itself; I don’t care that the person in the photo is a hypocrite. It is petty to the point it essentially platforms the person depicted.
Please be part of a cultural movement. The news used to bring on people from outrageous movements to mock them and instead it simply promoted those groups to a wider audience. The news has somewhat learned and you can see how delicately the NYT tries to dismantle Yarvinism.
Please please don’t platform hateful people. I’m here to escape them.
They didn't call him weak though? The post uses him as an example of men being highly emotional in a professional setting, which is something many of these same men claim should exclude women from numerous careers.
!Reprieve@lemmy.zip is here for male-identifying persons to get away from this kind of hate and find a better place to connect with their fellows where just regular normal people can talk about shit without judgement and without the specter of dumbass made up sexist shit like Peterson spouts hanging over them.
Disappointed but not surprised to see the downvotes, apparently there are Peterson fans here.
Worse yet, there's probably people that hate Peterson but love his tactics of just being the worst person ever in the "right way", you know people that think misandry isn't real.
J.P. knows what he belies in! He just refuses to say openly! Like he refuses to say whether he is a christian, despite literally going on a show named Christian vs atheist as he is fully aware that they would rip several instances of assholes on his body! And I really really really don’t think that he has any plans of making anything of his viewers to achieve anything considering the ads he runs for his youtube videos
and they gossip like mean girls, and not the good kind of gossip. i once followed some ytubers they had some woman on the channel and they were discussing gossiping and men gossip more than woman. i think its because men are likely to go on non-sensical rants, or incoherent thoughts.
Please link, sounds interesting. I would've expected a different result from personal experience, but also maybe with men I don't consider it "gossip" as readily.
Dude is corrupting impressionable young men the world over and there should be some charge for flooding these poor people with hate. Should not be able to just do this and be fine and dandy in his secure house where he wouldn't come within spitting distance of any of his cult.
!Reprieve@lemmy.zip exists for people who would like an alternative to Peterson's sexist bullshit.
Mandatory Brief look at Jordan Peterson, if you wanna see his philosophies and words given all the benefit of the doubt and still being systematically dismantled.
I don't know much about this guy so I might regret asking. Why is getting emotional about being a father figure for many people something to meme and bully?
My field is dominated by women but we have a few men. People are often escalated when they see me—I come in to cool things down and give strategies. Consistently, the people who pout, threaten, mutter under their breath, and act like they want to hit me are not the women. I’m sure it’s due to the lack of emotions.
I didn't know that much about him either other than him being a right wing grifter like Ben Shapiro.
Then I watched this nice, short look at Jordan Peterson and learned just how big of a moron he is
apparently hes important in luring impressionable "incels" into the folds of conservatism, and he has ties to russia, being paid by them and going there for unsanctioned benzo treatment.
alcohol???+benzo addiction historary. and faces of caucasians have propensity to turn red when they are angry or emotional, because there is no melanin to obscure the blood vessels under the skin.
I found the video this was taken from and he starts out very red. I don't know if it's bad studio lighting, a bad sunburn, or a combination, but right from the start he was very red. I guess when he got all emotional it just got that much worse.
