Most days, for the past three years, I have had zero problems thinking about alcohol. And then there are moments like this in which I am ready to throw away absolutely every single thing in order to taste that and to feel the sweet relaxation and relief. Use I feel statements. Do not say that somebody is categorically doing a thing or not doing a thing, say that you feel like they are doing a thing, and then explain why you feel that they are doing that thing and how that makes you feel. Do not judge them for it. Just clarify how you personally feel. That way you are not speaking to what they are doing, just how it is impacting you. Combine that with genuine communication and you should be okay. Be ready to make compromises. Be ready to listen to how they feel as well, not just to talk about how you feel.
Me and a couple friends from Lemmy have also been having a movie night lately! We watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang recently, one of my favorite movies of all time so I suggest that one.
Bullet Train is pretty fun. I'm a big fan of one set films.
This was not one of those situations though. Every reddit thread talking about this game has a ton of people who were playing at the time or after launch and all saying that it's just a poorly done game.
I got it when it came out and tbh… it’s just not very good. I think a big reason games in the indie world become well sold is because of positive word of mouth (Balatro, slay the spire, vampire survivors etc) and this one was just… not good. I wouldnt recommend it personally. Source
That whole thread is filled with people talking about the state of the game before launch of 1.0 as well as the launch. Also some very good points about the weakness of their financial choices if they ended up broke at the launch of 1.0.
I would agree if not for this. This is a list of all of the things that they promised in early access that they would add to the full game. Guess how many of these things are there?
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

Cocaine. It had absolutely no effect on me other than making me want more instantly. I tried it like three or four times before realizing that it didn't really do anything. Granted, the third and fourth time I only got it because my dealer was exceptionally hot and he allowed me to snort the cocaine off of his abs.
I was sat here trying to think of a joke that was connected to an artist losing their ear before realizing that was Vincent Van Gogh. But the joke was also predicated on the fact of kind of chewing on your cat's ear, but with your lips. Because I do that like all the time with my cat. I just nom on her ear. No teeth or anything. I'm a good bitch, but I like to chew on her ear just a little bit with my lips. She tolerates it. Not that she has much say in the matter.
These type of sarcastic jokes might be amongst my favorite. They're so backhanded and bitchy and unnecessary, yet almost unnecessary at the same time. There are so many stupid fucking questions that people will ask for no reason whatsoever, while having the answers stare them right in the face. Occasionally, it's nice just to be able to treat them like the fucking idiot they are in that moment.
I have no doubt that this bug played a part in their sales... However... The game was in early access for a decade before it actually released in 1.0. This was the 1.0 change log:

The guidance system can be disabled in Game options.
Option to change the direction only when moving with the keyboard (player is not facing automatically the mouse)

So to be honest, I'm not entirely sure that that launch was much of a launch to begin with... While the bug definitely had a part to play, I'm not sure this would have sold anything in the first place. It's a terraria clone that was dragged through early access for a decade before launching in a way that doesn't actually feel like a launch.
I have a lot of friends still up in Ontario who are really vehemently anti-Nazi.
A lot of those friends are bikers.
I wonder how they would feel about this.
