Texas checking in... We don't have as good of names like that but we have cities like Paris, Athens, and Odessa, TX. I think there are maybe 20 to 25 international city names that would make a fascinating road trip and probably be over 1K miles/1600 Km.

I remember noting that it was about the ugliest name for a town I could think of that doesn’t actually contain any recognizable words… but I would assume it’s a perfectly lovely place regardless of that
I am equally impressed that the journey is over 1k miles, considering the entire island is about 600 miles top to bottom. An extra 400 miles of no straight roads.
