This is a feeling wheel! This is used to help you find the best description for what you're going through and over time improve your ability to identify your feelings.
  • This was the first thing my therapist showed me when I started DBT therapy. I always forget to use it, even when I find myself wondering why I’m in a bad mood.

  • What are low-cost methods that's been helpful to your mental health?
    • Singing
    • Crying it out
    • Journaling
    • Getting enough sleep
    • Spending time in the sun
    • choosing to avoid arguments
  • me irl
  • Wow… inspirational 😍

  • me irl
  • Holy shit I was just thinking about this meme last night?? Did I manifest a meme, or predict that I would see it again?

  • This is my new home
  • I never thought of myself as addicted to social media, but I got more studying done in two days than I have in two months. It made me realize how much SM consumed my time.

  • YSK - you shouldn't avoid getting your pictures taken
  • Also, if you can afford it, get a professional picture taken of yourself, or even a family portrait. I don’t have any nice pictures of me and my grandma because she didn’t like pictures taken of her.

  • This is just insulting.
  • I’m optimistic of this as well. I know it will happen. If climate change doesn’t wipe us out before then lol

  • cutting pizza in a way to avoid cutting peperoni
  • I cut my pizza with kitchen scissors. My knives aren’t sharp enough and I don’t have to transfer it to a cutting board. And drinking warm water with a meal aids in digestion :D but I don’t do that lol

  • Resting is being busy
  • I can’t get over how cute he looks 😂

  • *Permanently Deleted*
  • Yeah kind of. It’s not as fun as waiting for your family to leave and searching “big boobs” for the first time, but it does remind me of finding a new forum lol

  • Reminder that this is a thing that could happen.
  • They’re trying everything to get us to buy YT premium. At what point do they start becoming full-on commercials? Lol

  • Can anyone else relate? Why is it so hard for them to just apologize??
  • Yeah it definitely is.

Is that why I got downvoted? Lol I wasn’t agreeing with them.

  • DAE avoid dating because it’s too emotionally taxing?

I get into these quick obsessions when I meet someone new, like planning our wedding and thinking about them to an unhealthy extent. It used to impact my work because I would drop everything to reply to their text or go on a date.

Now I just avoid dating altogether. Don’t even get me started on rejection :/

Does anyone else’s brain short-wire when they have to quickly make the distinction between left and right?
  • No way that’s so fucking cool! I would’ve never thought about doing that lol

  • "possesses" -- anyone else think this word is an eyesore?
  • Idk how it should be spelled, but it shouldn’t be that 😵‍💫 I never paid attention to that word until this post but it gets worse the more I look at it lol.

My favorite word to pronounce is “definitively”

  • Does anyone else’s brain short-wire when they have to quickly make the distinction between left and right?
  • I do the same thing. This always got me yelled at in elementary school because my teachers thought I didn’t know the difference.

  • Car Launches Off Tow Truck Ramp in Lowndes County, Georgia
  • Did he really think he could just… keep driving after that? I need to know more about this guy lol

  • The TIPP DBT skill has been the most effective in calming myself down during an episode.

The TIPP skill is meant to be used when under extreme distress. It’s helped me stop self-harming, destroying things, and even controlled my drinking. Here are my favorites from each category:

    Tip: Cold shower

    Intense exercise: Running

    Paced breathing: Box breathing (4-4-4-4)

Progressive Muscle Relaxation: My favorite video

Can anyone else relate? Why is it so hard for them to just apologize??
  • This could be abusive behavior… someone failing to understand their own actions or empathize with you is a sign of a very unhealthy person.

OR some neurotypicals are aware of their behavior but choose not to apologize anyway because it could be perceived as an admittance of guilt, and they would have to take responsibility for their actions. I used to work in a corporate environment and I never heard anyone apologize for anything. My own boss even told me not to apologize in emails no matter what in case the other person bring said issue up with Human Resources. Mind games suck so bad.

  • Does anyone else’s brain short-wire when they have to quickly make the distinction between left and right?

I know the difference between left and right, but sometimes it takes a few seconds for my brain to find the answer.
