You're going to drive to buy illegal drugs, and you don't put your seat belt on, so now some cop has cause to pull you over, what if he's doing it on the way back? Fucking idiot.
Never commit a misdemeanor while you're committing a felony.
Incidentally, check all your lights before pulling out of your spot. Many a bag has been confiscated over a busted light.
Even that's not foolproof. My wife and I were once pulled over in her car while driving home late at night from an out-of-state event, by some podunk South Carolina cop for having a light that "wasn't as bright as it should be." Spoiler alert: there wasn't a damn thing wrong with it.
Because I (a white guy) was in the car with her, nothing happened and we were shortly sent on our way, but part of me wonders if that would've been the case if she (a black woman) had been alone.
It's such bullshit they get the benefit of the doubt because: Am PoLiCe MaN.
I just passed under a light and it must have just changed to red as I passed under it because it 100% was yellow the whole time I could see it. I noticed the cop in the parking lot on one of the corners of the intersection start to move. He pulls out and pulls me over, I fight the ticket, and in court this mother fucker says "I (the cop) was sitting at the intersection and my light was green for almost 10 seconds when they (me) ran the red light." ...in the intersection and the parking lot at the same time. We have quantum police apparently.
Fuck that pig...
When I was a teen driver in the 90s, my rule was seatbelts or get the fuck out. If they fought me on it, I described to them in excruciating detail what my aunt looked like after a semi hit her car and she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. She was unrecognizable as a human being.. and she lived. Imagine looking like that while still alive. Put on your fucking seatbelt.
I have done that except at like from <5km/h with a friend who didn't feel like putting it on. Just enough so they are jolted a little forward. That got them to put it on really quickly.
We can obviously assume that OP was a coward and just drove quietly to the dealer and back and upon returning home sat at his computer and told his online buddies what he would've said if he wasn't such a wimp.
Damn the guy doesn't even get his weed
that‘s what really killed me, true anon shit to just turn back around in the end
True anon shit to have their friend start a sentence with “lol” and for their head to hit the windshield instead of the dash too
Turned out he was going to his auto dealership to get his own car back from the shop.
Is there a fake and gay bot yet?
I just automatically assume all green texts are fake
That's gay.
be me. Vasectomy something. Cuck fetish idk. On leddy, nuggets and something something. "Fake and gay" lmao & lol
I am a FOSS bot. Write the fucking code if you don't like it
Chaotic good characters are wild.
Fake, 40mph head slam is a trip to the hospital minimum; you can slam someone into the dash just by letting the car roll from idle and then hitting the brakes (if it's a v6 or thereabouts in typical displacement). I know 'cause I tried it once not realizing how badly I would make them hit the dash. I just thought I would make them jerk forward a little and scare them. Seat material matters, of course, in my case it was fake leather/vinyl.
Almost like a kid in a kindergarden.
Where I live, the driver gets the ticket if the passenger has no seatbelt. The car doesn't move unless everyone is buckled in, because I'm not paying for someone else's laziness.
Yeah here I'm pretty sure it's the driver gets a fine and the passenger too if they're over 16yo
Okay yeah I looked it up its the same here. Both passenger and driver if the passenger is over 16.
And for good reason. A single unbelted person in the car is a serious threat to everyone else in an accident. You could end up paying for it with your life if you let it slide. I think the statistic is something like a 20% increased risk of death in an accident when a single passenger is unbuckled.
And I hate that "aren't you a good driver" idiocy. Sure, but aren't all those other drivers on the road the worst?
I've read some stories about this happening from people who work in the ER. Having someone else's teeth pulled from your skull doesn't sound like the best way to go.
I kind of wonder if these people understand momentum.
This is the way.
That's interesting, in Germany aslong as the passenger is an adult it's no longer the drivers responsibility whether that passenger cares about their own safety. The fines go up fast for children though.
It used to be similiar here, but they changed things around a decade ago
