Personally I don't think these people should be having private conversations with minors at all. It's fucking weird and stupid and just leaves them open to this kind of allegations.

People were saying the exact same shit a year ago. They've been saying the exact same shit the whole god damn time since those two have been running.
There are certainly hobbyists making good content. Most of the great content is from people making a living off it. They have time and resources to devote to doing deep dives into subjects that hobbyists just generally don't. The bigger problem as far as filling the internet with crap goes is all the react content and people making clips of other people's stuff that adds nothing to it and whatever YouTube shorts are supposed to be.
I was ridiculed once in like 4th grade for wearing "short shorts" and didn't wear shorts again until after highschool. I'm still not super comfortable in anything less than long cargo shorts. Which I understand are now out of fashion as well...
to be clear I'm not arguing against you or disagreeing the fraction thing demonstrates what you're saying. It just really bothers me when I think about it like my brain will not accept it even though it's right in front of me it's almost like a physical sensation.
