As President Donald Trump's tariffs roil global markets, some of the thought leaders and influential podcasters who backed the Republican's campaign are voicing doubts.
Ben Shapiro, Dave Portnoy, Joe Rogan, Bill Ackman & Elon Musk views on tariffs
This exactly, all that sweet sweet revenue from conservatives flocking to your podcasts, channel, etc suddenly disappears due as a result of supporters more concerned about the tariffs than to the brainrot podcasts
Nah like the other grifters he's more worried about his supporters turning on him once they have no jobs or can't afford anything because of the tariffs, hence no money they can grift from them.
All these fucking idiots spent at least 4 years scouring the globe to find the world's best shit sandwich chefs, to source premium, wagyu quality bullshit from the finest international suppliers...
And now they don't enjoy eating the sandwich.
Gulp it down fuckos, yum yum yum, you wanted this.
I'll also throw Aiden Ross into this group. Actual sub room temp IQ idiot zoomer streamer, MAGA cultist/propigandist, who rose to fame by quite literally sniffing Andrew Tate's farts ...
(I am not joking, he did a video with Tate where at one point Tate gets up from his chair and leaves the shot, Aiden sneakily gets up and huffs the seat of the chair)
... yeah this dumb fuck had a stream in the last 24 hrs where he said he has taken an 8 figure loss on presumably his stocks and crypto from this Trump crash.
That is at least 10 million dollars, bare minimum.

This... Is the best thing I have read about all of these MAGA goons. Quote of 2025 for me.
Unfortunately, I was crippled by an assault and now live off of SSDI, so if the shit eating splatters enough shit my way, I get to die homeless and starving in a wheelchair.
That’s capitalism baby. It’s a system for turning anything and everything into a thing with a monetary value - and those who are the best at exploitation rise to the top. Narcissists, psychopaths, those who lack any kind of empathy or desire for a sustainable future.
I can't say I've seen or heard of him doing that, but it wouldn't surprise me.
I know Aiden showed up with Trump and gave him a CyberTruck with an American Flag style wrap.
Curiously, this was not long after Aiden literally shot the shit out of his own CyberTruck with an AR15 at close range, and was dismayed to find that it was in fact not bullet proof.
I can't prove it, but it would not surprise me at all if this was the same actual CyberTruck after some repairs and a wrap applied.
This exact reasoning to why they are backing out in support because they are financially hurt and it’s a massive blow. Even Ben Shapiro was talking against the tariffs, was definitely not on my bingo card for 2025.
Well, to be fair, he's built like a brick shithouse, and he is an actual Tae Kwon Do, and Jujitsu expert. He's the real deal, in that respect. I'm pretty confident that he could kick the shit out of all of us. But, to his credit, he seems laid back, and chill, and not the violent aggressive type.
He's just a meathead dudebro of average intelligence, and the gift of gab, that got lucky. Good for him on that.
But, giving truly evil people a platform to spread their poison... not cool. You have more money than you can ever spend, Joe. Stop enabling the poisoning of young minds.
His Stoner Zen Badass persona is why teenage boys, and adults with the minds of teenage boys love him.
Economics is taught in highschool. 54% read below a 6th grade level. I'd be willing to bet the 30% of the population that voted for Trump read below that.
"He's not hurting the people he needs to be hurting"
Imagine: voting not for any particular benefit for you or other Americans, not for the good of the country, but voting to HURT a specific set of people.
I don't know if i should be amused, that even Musk is reacting like he didn't think Trump was going to pull this through or rather alarmed that Trump really is unhinged.
It's not like Trump wasn't talking about tariffs a long time before enforcing them.
It's because it hurts their bottom line, basically they can't grift anymore with lies if the conservatives don't have jobs and they start blaming Republicans and their policy, they will lose viewer ship to their shows or podcasts. It is the reason they have been quiet all of the sudden much like the situation with Luigi early on.
The best part is, Trump is literally doing everything he said he was going to do without any deviation. All you had to do was listen to what he was saying he would do, and you would have known where we would end up.
So you shouldn't be questioning Trump's choices as much as questioning yourself for not knowing what they would be.
I know this is a hot take, but I used to respect how he did his podcast back in the day. Never liked him and always thought he was a garbage human but he at least tried to bring all kinds of people with different view points on. And than as soon as he got "fuck you" money he turned out just to be like any other "bro" with fuck you money. And I am so sick and fucking tired of rich people bitching about losing their money now after so many regular people have been suffering under this administration. It's only a problem now because it affects you. Like, you all knew he was going to dismantle the government and y'all are just pissed he is fucking you over when you thought you'd be part of the in crowd when he took over. Y'all thought this was only going to affect minority groups and poor people and were perfectly fine letting everyone else but you suffer. And I don't wanna hear any of that "I DiDn'T kNoW He WaS gOnNa Do tHiS" bullshit because they all knew this was going to happen while they played games with millions of people's lives for money and power.
Sorry for the rant. I'm just getting really really really impatient with all this bullshit.
Edit: I was gonna specify this was about Joe Rogan but then realised 90% applies to all of them anyway.
I feel like anything outside of people punching other people his takes weren’t very good. Sure he had diverse guests but it created a platform for the bad as much as, if not more than, the good. The bad got more attention and he followed that bc $.
