CachyOS is the best Linux experience I've ever had. I used to use Mint too but it had problems with my new hardware. I was hesitant because people always say Arch distros are hard to learn but what I don't see mentioned is how much better they actually run. I've had zero problems so far, and that's more than I can say for Windows 11 lol.
Seems about 40% working, I personally only have one game that doesn't jive with Linux. If the game you're playing doesn't work that's the fault of the specific anti-cheat developers because it's obviously possible to do it right.
You can complain about click bait all day, that's fine, but you came in here misinterpreting the article and then posted a non-relevant link to support your argument, followed by another back-pedaling comment to say "frame rates don't matter as long as it's over 30fps" LMAO.
I think you're arguing just to argue, seems a little more childish than anything I said honestly.
I have issues with Ubuntu based distros and my Nvidia card, Arch based seems to work great though. Don't ask me why lol, I'm just getting back into Linux and still learning but that was my experience.
There's a difference between being lazy and being unwilling to learn. I'm not trying to proselytize at you, but Linux can be as hard or as easy as you want it to be. Shit, I'm lazy too lol.
I'm running Cachyos because everything worked right out of the box with my hardware and it plays all my games without having to configure anything besides clicking on the "install gaming packages" button. It's based on Arch though so you could install that instead and set it all up yourself to tweak it to your heart's content. That's kind of the beauty of it.
