  Now, can Facebook shut down to the Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of your life)”?
That doesn't matter, his current customers are governments and oligarchs who want people to have certain opinion.
Other than myself I only know one other person who has quit Facebook over this, so I very much doubt that advertisers will stay away. It took a lot more for them to leave Twitter, even after Elon told them to fuck off and sued them for not advertising on his platform.
- Everyone I know that would have left Facebook over this already left years ago during other scares/changes/security issues.
  I dropped it cold Turkey about 9yrs ago and never looked back.
- I remember back when Elmo took over Twitter and advertisers could be shamed into quitting. But slowly they all crawled back. Hopefully it will stick this time.
I don't have much faith in advertisers starving Zuckerberg of cash. Unless there's an exodus of users from Facebook, Instagram, and whatever else Zuckerberg owns then there's not going to be any pressure on advertisers to abandon those sites.
- Just one major advertising client leaving is devastating. Nobody wants their business's ad to appear next to nazi-content.
Advertisers will go where people are. Unless people are leaving the Zuckerverse, the advertisers will just go along with it.
You don't need advertisers when you've got the garment in your pocket. Don't you worry that little deposit he made into the White House coffers won't let him plenty of sweet cash.
To paraphrase Mayor Quimby: if the winds of change are blowing, never let it be said that Mark Zuckerberg does not also blow.
Who knew, these tech bros would drive consumers and advertisers together to fight a common enemy.
