I would do so many things to drive that road like a madman. Close course, obv.
It’s pretty expected at this point. Snapchat was found early on to be keeping all of the photos people took for legal coverage. Only makes sense they’d have tool to automatically flag and review that content.
If you’re not using a service whose entire focus is security and privacy (I would consider Snapchat to be more of a social platform, even though they advertise differently), assume you are always being watched.
It’s not the fault of the user they’re being watched, but something we should be aware of.
All that said, glad she was caught. Fuck her.
It’s changing everyone’s behavior for the worse
Can I have some of those? They look amazing!
I think when we capture nature in a hyper-realistic way, the takeaway is control. We get to choose exactly what is included and what is not. It’s also about admiring the process that goes into it. We’re able to comprehend the work that went into making that possible. It also means that you get to stop time in the piece. You’re seeing that very specific part of reality that artist wanted you to see.
I think all experience of art, enjoyable for us or not, is something the brain adheres to because it is unlike nature. Nature tries to all blend together in a very loose way. We categorize many things like animals, land, the stars… but it all is really just one thing. Art is the ability to purposefully change that continuity with intent. To see something sitting there, doing nothing, and you feel the desire to arrange it in some way.
Music is no different. We realized sound was one of our senses and most of nature’s songs are chaotic, outside the rare particularly talented bird.
We’ve found ways to harness sound into whatever we found is most pleasing. And it seems what it pleasing is different from one person to the next, but also shares ground through the instruments we use.
I imagine when we first started rhythmically hitting sticks on rocks, it wasn’t long before we had an arrangement of our favorite sticks and rocks to hit together. And we just kept getting more creative from there.
Normally I don’t dog on peoples sketches because they’re not high effort, but these are flat pencil drawings of bland skylines in frames, which means he considers those finished. They look like a middle schooler drew them.
Within the last couple years, I’ve made massive breakthroughs in allowing myself to cry. There’s been a few nights where it lasts as long as an hour. It’s strange, but I enjoy it afterwards. It’s a relief like any other to just let yourself go for a while.
Because the only progress we know how to make on computers is backwards it seems.
This is great news! I long for the day we have a NoCo <> Denver rail. Driving into Denver sucks.
AI is just like any other tool. You wouldn’t want to use a hammer for a screw. For me, it’s the tool I reach for if no other tool can reasonably do the job or if it specifically does not require precision. It throws me off the way people started treating AI like it’s a replacement for the tools it emulates.
What is?
Having looked at these mountains a few years now, confirmed.
Can we get the RTX update for it this time?
I think when Matilda’s family fell apart in an unseen epilogue, he just went on to become Frank from IASIP.
I guess from what I’ve seen it hasn’t been the focus. It’s not been as present as I’ve seen in other places. I’m not even sure it’s possible to entirely escape politics until you start approaching the abstract. Politics are people at the end of the day.
…in a forest when they come across an old abandoned barn. They quickly run inside, with maybe seconds to spare before their pursuers catch up to the group.
Thinking quickly on their feet, one of them hops in an old potato sack. “Follow my lead!” The other two immediately grab their own bags and hide.
Moments later, the cops burst through the doors and begin looking for clues. One of them sees the pile of potato sacks and motions for one of the other officers. “I think I’ve got something.”
He kicks the first bag.
> WOOF WOOF
“Oh. Weird. Just a dog.” They see another bag nearby and kick it as well.
> REEEER
“Nah. Just a cat.”
They come across the final bag, about to give up and move on with their search, when they give it one last kick.
> POTATOES

This was my first ever experience getting to see a live Formula 1 race and had no idea what I…

I put together an article of my first-hand account of what it was like to see a Formula 1 event, plus some of my proudest pictures.
Here are some of my best tracks No Passing Zone Your browser does not support the audio element. Rainfall Your…

I’ve been told my style reassembles video game music. Let me know your thoughts!
I have to reject any that don’t make the cut.
Everyone knows all the classic stuff you hear in karaoke bars, but I always enjoy artists that can make lyrics that you love singing along to.
I’m not necessarily talking about the best lyrics or the most thoughtful, but the ones that you love belting out with confidence even when a friend is in the car. Think Bohemian Rhapsody scene from Wayne’s World.
I’m curious if there are some lesser-known artists that are just as fun to sing along to, but never got their time on the radio.

This is only my test picture. I’ll be posting a full album from my DSLR later next week.
It is insane just how big these events are and how surprisingly well organized everything has been. Really impressed overall with how alive everything has been.
I had earplugs plus noise canceling headphones on and the engines were still clear as day. Absolutely insane how fast they go. GA is sat right around the sphere and it’s a pretty heavy breaking zone. Even then, trying to track the cars for a good shot proved really challenging. Definitely pushed my skills.
And totally unrelated, but I also learned OneRepublic is responsible for like 90% of the modern pop radio that I hate. So that was fun to sit through…
I’ll be going to see the Las Vegas GP. I’ve never been to a Formula 1 race and don’t know what to expect from the days surrounding the race. Are there any tips you wish you knew before going the first time? I plan on going to the full race weekend and not sure what to bring to make my stay more comfortable. Also, any tips on stops I should make in that area of Vegas while I’m there?
