  • I'm no expert but I didn't have any trouble compiling and running a native Linux FPS game in an Arch distrobox on bazzite to test a bugfix.

I'm just good enough with Linux to know my way around and to break stuff when I have unfettered access to mess with the base system. Bazzite saves me from myself.

  • My bro-in-law lived with us before college. His husky has a thing where she wants to smell everything humans are about to eat but would never try to steal it.

She got one of the neighbor's chickens when it wandered into our backyard. Ever since then, chicken is the only food she will try to steal.

If she doesn't get to "smell-taste" she does all that typical husky drama.

  • I had such a good experience switching to bazzite (from arch btw) that I put Aurora on my wife's Ryzen 2500u laptop when windows 10 was taken out to a nice farm.

That went well until she said her friend's kids couldn't play games anymore. I quickly and flawlessly rebased it to bazzite and set up games.

A few hiccups with lacking Microsoft Office and having to learn the alternatives was the only issue she has had but that only took a few days for her to get down.

  • I mostly just backup hard to find things and best quality photos for the household. Everything else would be an inconvenience at best and isn't worth the money.

Though there is a few files I recovered from CD-R disc rot also in the mix. Can't lose my early HTML learning phase even if I forgot it all now. Making IE5.5 work was ART, with all that broken markup most browsers ignored.

  • I have a 2015 Mazda3 automatic that's been pretty great for 252k miles. Full list of repairs beyond typical wear parts has been the rear camera and camera wiring, rear camera switch, infotainment screen (all under warranty btw), and the accelerator pedal.

It has also had about $5k of repairs from the wife hitting a curb at 55mph. One bunch of suspension parts and a new engine cradle later...

Still runs and drives like new.

  • I did this for a bit. My barber lady commented how nice and healthy my hair was for the first time ever. Then I got a job that was too dirty to keep it up. Had metal dust on my scalp no matter how I tried cleaning with just water.

Added conditioner to the routine and that worked for that issue. Still no poo.

  • A buddy of mine had many bans on CS: Source servers for cheating. He's computer illiterate and gamed on an IBM T42 at 640x480, but paired with headphones he was a monster. I know for sure he didn't cheat, he was my roommate and I seen bans happen with my own eyes.

Dude couldn't look at a titty online without windows needing a reinstall, there's no way he could download a cheat.
