The last two paragraphs:
"According to the Interior Ministry, 599 smugglers’ balloons and 197 drones have crossed into Lithuanian airspace this year, disrupting 320 flights, affecting 47,000 passengers and causing nearly 60 hours of airport closures.
Weather balloons launched by cigarette smugglers in Belarus have disrupted operations at Vilnius Airport more than a dozen times in recent months and once at Kaunas Airport."
I have one of those "Qi Charger" induction chargers in my EV. My phone heats up something fierce if I use it, making me assume there's some inefficiency in charging as the process is generating heat whilst charging my phone. If using USB 'wired' charging, there is far less heat generated. Good for them designing and building new methods, and I'd like to see higher efficiency before I would adopt this method.
Cool, now do the other 19,993 Ukrainian Children that Russia has abducted. And let's not forget that 6 year old Chinese kid that was separated from his Dad by ICE and disappeared, while we're at it.
Seems like it should be for the repair tech to do their job. But what if it's after normal work hours? Are these technicians expected to work 24 hours a day? In my town, after 6pm, and or on weekends, or when the shop is closed all that restricted parking becomes available for general use, mostly. Of course I ride a bike, even in the Winter, so there's always some place I can lock up. And when people ask me where to park, I have to shrug and say I don't really know.
Calling BS: "Detwiler also asked the man to pull down his mask. “I knew it was him immediately,” Detwiler said." - we've all seen those pix from the scene of the crime cameras, fuzzy images, never showing the whole face. Color me even more skeptical.
USians, write your representatives, tell them how you feel about your government committing war crimes. It feels good to take action. And before someone says, "but it won't do any good" let me say that defeatism plays directly into the fascist playbook.
It's a risk we all are willing to take.
