I bought the game about 6 months ago, and it failed to grab my attention. Ran great on my pc, super fast load times, graphics look good on triple wide too, and only came across one bug that I can remember, so guess I'm lucky. Maybe I should re-try it.
I have 100 hours in the game, I only have a few more achievements to do and then Im going to complete the game. In usually not a completionist like that, but I got really hooked on this one
It was a bit difficult for me to jump back into for some reason but I stuck with it and got addicted for a few weeks.
I was heavy into it when it first came out (playing on my PC) and then fell off and then came back for the 2.0/Phantom Liberty DLC but couldn’t get into it for some reason. Then I came back a short time later and stuck with it and it grew on me again.
2.0 massively rebalanced shit, so if you played in a different way on your return that might also explain it
I played 1.0 as a hacker wizard man with 0 combat skills at all, but that's a LOT harder (and, worse, annoying) as of 2.0, so I had to rework my character to find the fun
I bought it on launch and it never caught me. I gave it a shot. tried again with my new PC running it in 4k and man did it look beautiful, but I just couldn't do it. I think I should just restart and commit to it
Really like this game. I am not a completionist, but I believe I have done all the endings including the DLC. Got nearly 300 hours in. Has it been buggy? Yes. But that was mostly resolved to a playable state a couple/few months after release.
Hope to see something in the same universe in the future.
finally started playing through the base game recently, about 30 hrs in trying to get everything done before I go to the final mission. Will the DLC be worth it?
I just went through it a month or two ago, and was super surprised at how short it was. Not that it's bad to be semi short in an open world game, but it was a one and done thing for me. Witcher 3 for comparison lasted me 200 hours, but this game was less than 60.
