I'm PS5, Switch 2, and PC tertiary. Honestly, I regret buying the Switch 2 since I can nearly play all the same games on SW1 still.

Sure, but you need to compare top notch phones as they still fail to meet the performance of steam machine. Technically I could build a pc from 10 years ago and say its cheaper too, but it would also be disingenuous because your not comparing closest like hardware.
Most of the plex enshitification can also just be turned off in the settings. I've got all the ad stuff and suggestions off and its just the core plex experience left.
The point is that you now have another app to manage or learn about just for remote viewing, and the general public can't and won't manage something like that. People like us, no problem, its easy, but my dad would never be able to, for example. He can install plex and just log in to an app anywhere to use it though.
Also, dont forget that many households have non-static IP addresses, so now you need more management for that issue (again, easy for us).
In my experience, when given real world data to run on, they don't hallucinate that often. Its when you ask it to regurgitate stored info that its off by a wild amount sometimes. Fixing or comparing code is like AI 101, unlike code generation where it may be incorrect.
