Almost the entire point of the prequels is that the Jedi are horrible.
So, yeah. That's how they do it.
- I feel like Obi Wan wasnt like them but also wasnt in a position to argue with others lile Windu in EP 2 and 3.
- Yeah, I know, took a couple watchthroughs to get it at first but this was their own arrogance really showing. They couldn't be bothered just to show a bit of encouragement.
I think he didn't get that encouragement because they didn't believe it.
