If you read the back of the bag of 'effort' it says 'Not included: access to quality education, parental availability, food security, stable environment, absence of abuse, and low ACE score.'
Imposter syndrome strikes again!
Intelligence has nothing to do with how much you know and everything to do with how good you are at learning. He has low knowledge, not INT, if effort improved it.
You seem to have conveniently misplaced the labels "time", "stress" and "pain" that go right next to the "effort" one.
- Otherwise known as some of the largest components that make up the concept of "effort."

  yeah but everyone has limits. I have had to get good at things im not particularly gifted with ability in and after massive effort im able to get by but sorta craptacular at it. You do tend to identify low hanging fruit and tricks to get by in that situation though.
