I think that’s Soren specifically, who was assigned agender at birth but identified as female. So trans suits.

- Yeah I felt the same about them as I did him and Miles. I could be forgetting something, but I just didn't get (or remember, is been about 12 years since I watched it) the sensation he wanted to bang anyone except Jadzia. Even Ezri he just wanted to be best friends with.

Jadzia wasn't a lesbian. She could have passed as Bi, but she is so often referenced in trans discussions that it seems like she should have been T instead of that one off character from TNG.

Even Odo could have been used for T because his people don't even have genders, they emulate them purely for the convenience of the audience. 🤷‍♂️
But then Garak did not feel strictly gay either. In fact it seemed like his attraction was more based around the quality of someone's interaction rather than their gender.
This implies that people cannot have platonic relationships with people of the gender(s) they are attracted to, which is bullplop.

Excuse me?! How is Bashir in Bi when mirror Kira is all over everyone, man and woman, and that is obviously just a reflection of how Kira is, just the evil version.

I am willing to chalk up the undertones with Garak up to media at the time being afraid to portray gay men. I’m super glad that Discovery got a chance to do that. But still, he’s not the poster child of the show for bisexuality!!
