Oh crap! If cat's evolve opposable thumbs, we're all doomed! Their inability to effectively open the treat bags is the only reason they keep us around!
Fun fact, polydactyly is a dominant trait, and has become more and more common over the past 200 years.
I believe it's much more common to be either just the front paws or just the rear (with just the front being the most common).
