How did you discover it? I think I tried Lemmy before this instance existed but couldn't figure out how to use it so gave up, but I think I saw a comment on /r/casualuk where someone mentioned this instance and signed up.
I originally signed up for lemmy.org.uk, but that instance disappeared randomly a week after being created. I can't remember how I discovered here, I think I just went to the instances sections on join-lemmy.org and went to the UK instance listed.

Crikey, I only joined a couple of weeks after this instance started too... looks like a few of us didn't realise the paint was still wet when signing up.
