Went out for dinner last night, got a porterhouse. Some drinks, more drinks at another bar. Aldi beer.

Then I promptly fell asleep at 11pm.

It's fun when my partner's birthday is within 10 days of mine 😂 he is my best friend, I love how we can make each other laugh.

Bluestone moved! No monolith / stonehenge today :(

Surprisingly no injuries.

Moved some biggish bits of bluestone yesterday. Feeling that today. 2 more to go. One of them is about 1.5m long 30cm wide and 20cm high. Chuckin' it in a bluestone slab weight calculator it's over 250kgs lol.

Not sure what to do with the big one (or how to move it safely). Tempted to bury it a bit, upright in the middle of the lawn as a sort of a space odyssey monolith thing for no reason.

I vote for mini-Stonehenge. If you have round poles could you roll it on several of those?

My brain just does not compute budgeting that way. I budget on my fortnightly pay cycle, with monthly and yearly payments averaged out.
- Same. A fortnight is a fortnight, every bill or estimated bill gets divided into fortnightly payments even if it's $3 per fortnight. Getting paid 3 times a month makes no difference at all to my accounting/budgeting...
- I just run a spreadsheet. Pay1 on X pay 2 on Y, reoccurring bills all colourcoded in accordance to what pay cycle purview they land in + half a mortgage payment = total for that pay. Subtract ones with PAID next to them from the total for a running idea of how much moneys I need to have before next pay rolls in

Had an awful nightmare about someone from my past and woke up to see that they’d tried to call me at 3:45am (number is blocked, but it shows in my call log). I sent them a polite email “this makes me very uncomfortable, please stop. Also I’m blocking your email address, so do not reply.” I don’t know if that was the right course of action, but I’m just… I just don’t want to see their name in my call log any more. They try and call a couple of times a month and I know it’s not for anything and they’ll always just say “it was an accident” or “I saw a bit of news you might be interested in”. Omg just stop.

why the hell is someone calling you at 3:45? Unless someone is dead leave me the F alone. Most phones wont even ring at that time.

It involved a work colleague I don't interact with much, speaking with them about work but also ninjas and karate on a long train ride to a suburb called Brain, where I was meeting an ex work colleague for her birthday party at a Japanese pizza and board games restaurant. I fell asleep multiple times at the birthday party and learned my male colleagues name (in my dream) was Wendy, which was short for Wendsley.

My psychologist, psychiatrist and someone in my personal life who is not a friend or family member all think I have autism. None of them know each other, and have just told me that coincidentally at the same time. Unfortunately, it would explain a lot. I didn't even think of it until they said it.

The new work laptop has a Copilot button. The most offensive thing about it is the Copilot button has replaced the right Ctrl key. Remapping it with Powertoys hasn't worked. I actually use the right Ctrl key so the irony of this button promising a productivity assistant replacing an actually useful key that enhances productivity is not lost on me.

I get ads for Temu which I'm quite happy to watch. Some things look handy and give me ideas but I'll never buy them from there. I like the kitchen stuff.

Today's ad was doggy wheels like the ones when the dog can't use his back legs. Doggy looked very happy wheeling around.

People who type on loud clacky keyboards in open place workspaces are psychopaths. The keyboard is not balanced on the desk as well, so it rocks when being smashed by its user, adding to the wall of sound.

I've switched from my ear buds to my over-ear headphones, let's see how we go blocking it out.

I remember when I got the infusion for the first time, the doctor googled in front of me what foods contain phosphate.
He said, "We don't want you consuming sugary drinks and highly processed fast food, but in this case, it will help those phosphate levels."

Eastlink account has now been updated with the new vehicle. I had to phone them because the previous owner still had it on his account.

It does make me wonder what the legal situation is if you just keep driving on someone else's account. Would they be stuck with the charges because they have agreed to pay tolls on that vehicle, or would it be considered some sort of theft by deception because I know I'm not really authorised?

My local ringies have absolutely destroyed my potted fuschias. In previous years the mint has been fairly safe - not this year. They even had a go at the lemon thyme and the really spicy oregano, neither of which have been targeted before. Lotta hungry possums out there rn. So far the chives are safe but I'm holding my breath a bit.

Well, despite barely sleeping at all out of frustration and resentment and the heat, I seem to have woken up feeling alright and the day was rather pretty and fun for what it was, once i realised other deadlines were going to have to get tossed out beyond my control

Still got a lot of uni stuff to do before meeting tomorrow and I had banked on a short office day today to give me more time. Am now exhausted and about to see psych after which I rarely feel like doing and work but we'll see... maybe I'll reward myself with pizza tonight if I can get it all done.

Picked up the bike with the new Marathon tyres on it. I noticed the weight picking it up more than I expected, same with pushing off on a quick test ride. It's not so bad once you get going, though.

It also just feels off having tyres like this on a gravel bike, like putting regular road tyres on a rally car but more noticeable. In reality this bike spends most of its time on the road and these tyres are meant to keep the flats away so I can spend more time riding. The added weight will be good for strength training
