Nah. So much of even The Left are desperate to get their swasticars and tesla stock back and will be ecstatic over saying that now musk is no worse than any other CEO. Like, did you hear about how horrible Toyota is?
Its one of the things that make me the most depressed about the state of humanity. Even around here we had straight up mods insisting that attacking teslas was wrong and nobody should fault anyone who bought one or some stock and blah blah blah.
Why would they attack Toyota? Motherfuckers made the hilux, and you'll be hard pressed to find a vehicle with more combat experience except the hummvee.
The prick is a fucking nazi, and needs to face the 1945 consequenses of being the nazi minister of propaganda. He doesn't just get to pull back a bit and sit in his cosy Tesla office, acting like he isn't the most deplorable waste of oxygen the world has ever seen.
I get the sentiment but as a car guy who grew up in a dealership they're garbage. Poorly made, hard to service, unsafe, Nazi garbage. They can die with Nissan and the only thing of any value the world loses is the GTR
Is this how quickly people forget? Never again buy a Tesla, or Tesla stock, and never stop letting those who do know what you think of them for doing that.
Not people; shitheads like Blackrock are the ones artificially keeping Tesla inflated.
Tesla announced today their Q1 sales were over 336,000 vehicles. If they sell that many every quarter (no idea, but for the sake of argument let's say they do) that means 1.3 million vehicles are sold every year. By contrast, the Big 3 sell over 700,000 half-ton pickup trucks each annually. In other words, consumers buy more F-150s, RAM 1500s, and Silverado 1500s a year than total Tesla sales.
One model line from those three combined far outsells Tesla, and yet Tesla has more "value" than those three collectively? Yeah, that's not fishy at all.
As if somehow his involvement at Tesla is a good thing.
If they could build a car that competes with BYD and other Chinese manufacturers in cost, it might be worth a fraction of its current value, but they cannot. Their cars are aging, the tech isn’t leading edge anymore, and they haven’t demonstrated that they have learned how to move from design to production without a huge on-ramp. Their PE should be lower than Ford or even VW.
I would like my retirement savings to be in an S&P 499 where Tesla is excluded. I don’t want to manage my 401k every day but I have zero confidence in the stock and humanoid robots is not making me feel any better. I want robots shaped like the task they intend to accomplish. I don’t give a rat’s ass if my dishwasher is a cube. If anything, I’d prefer it not walk around and ask me questions.
