I usually have a fan on at night. I like the noise. Also, the HVAC vent points at our bed so it's on/off, hot/cold all night and the fan helps.
I also like the noise, though it can be surprisingly difficult to find a noisy fan. So many advertise how quiet they are, which is the opposite of what I want.
I play rain noise during the winter and just leave the bedroom window open most nights during summer and the leaves rustling is a good replacement.
