Married 30 years. His check goes into one account. Mine goes into another. We both have access to all accounts. I handle all the bills. We used to put both into one checking account - once our debt card was stolen and they spent so much money that we were still negative after both checks went in. Then we split them so there'salways a backup just in case.
I know that one about play play play. Someone karaoked it last Halloween at a friend's party.
Maybe he's trying a non-antiperspirant deodorant? There are several brands and some work better than others. You could start start that discussion with him?
I've called them several times to get a report for car break in or vandalism. Once i got a check from a victim fund for my broken window and missing stuff. Called them because someone in a scream mask was banging on my front door at 3am.
Short bursts of great stuff are better than long periods of shitty stuff.
If an annual pass to a museum is $100, i would spend two day's dollars buying 3-day passes to lots of different museums for a friend and me. Do we auto transport to the city? Or does the museum just appear at my house?
On the other days i would take a couple of laps around a track in some cool cars, have sips of some very expensive whiskey, and ride short sections of trains around the world.
During the week i would search the internet to find great $1 specials at bars all over the world and on weekends i would slowly have a beer on a beach in Mexico, vermouth in Barcelona, coffee in Modena, a mojito in havana, ...
I think my dad's family got cheese. I assumed it was because they were native American. I don't remember ever trying it - i just saw a couple of big blocks that said CHEESE on a shelf.
My son is vegan and he makes fun of himself - If you vape, you're vegan, and you're in a band; which one do you talk about first? Was funnier a few years ago when people carried around those giant vapes. We harassed him a lot for saying, "i can't eat that" - well, yes you can, but you choose not to- so, now he'll say he prefers to avoid animal products. If people ask, be honest and answer succinctly - I'm trying it to see if it makes me feel better, or whatever. The hate isn't from choosing your own food. It's from the endless conversations and superior, more informed attitude about it - same as anyone who makes one thing their identity - politics, religion, etc.
Which is your favorite? I'm only through the first few.
I have the same, plus a watch plan, two home internets, apple tv, netflix, and i just realized that we were paying insurance on 4 phones (that i need to cancel to save$60!) for $374/mo.
Happy birthday! Every decade i think, "this is the best!" Embrace being young enough to still do most of the things you enjoy and being old enough to (sometimes) know which ones to skip. https://youtu.be/NJf5DMVa5kQ?feature=shared
When i read the headline i thought it was about the Wisconsin State Bar.
When you're lying down and you roll right side <> left side, roll onto your belly instead of your back. Hope you're feeling better soon.
I'm hoping santa puts 36 piers under my house.
Last time i checked he was at 50.00% of total votes.
ETA- yeah, AP shows him at 50; her at 48.4.
You should add that to the Low Quality Facts community.
Think Canada might be willing to help pay for that one.
By humanity, do you mean with hand-to- hand combat? I'm not sure when that ended, but i would expect it to be around that time.
I live in Texas and we have a ton of Mexican food. Much of it is Tex-Mex (saucy and cheesy), but we have a lot of small, family-run restaurants that serve more regional foods - Oaxaca, Michoacan, etc. https://dallas.eater.com/2019/4/18/18293430/regional-mexican-dishes-dallas-barbacoa
Edit- where are you?
I worry that they'll just open a can of worms and fuck up our farm bill access.
She was my mom's. Very sweet but she causes a cat fight every day and i have to cover my bed with a solar blanket to keep her from pottying on it.
The ruling is a major defeat for the outgoing Biden administration, which argued the policy promoted family unity among mixed-status households.
I work in a public school district and i visit about a dozen different schools. Bosses are making us share our calendars, thinking they'll be able to track us and catch us doing something wrong. I'm planning to add "started my period" every couple of weeks. Are there other good outlook tricks to fuck with them?
ETA- This is my work calendar, not my personal calendar. I know that seems reasonable but it's being done as a petty micromanagement tactic. There are about 20 of us in my department who drive from school to school every day working with kids with physical disabilities. They don't just want to know when we're in meetings - they want every minute of our day to be accounted for - 8 to 830 school A, 840 to 11 school B, etc. I go to 14 schools. If my kid at school A is absent or if i get a call from school J that i need to stop by to fix a wheelchair, am I supposed to pull over and update my calendar so they can find me? I could spend an hour a day in parking lots editing my calendar. Most days i eat lunch in my car between schools. Last year they made a rule that we can't carry to-go cups because it looks like we have enough free time to drive thru Starbucks. It's just to be controlling.
I'm non-techy. I work for a public school district and visit with kids in about a dozen schools. I like having my work email on my phone so teachers can get in touch if they need me. For years we've just used the outlook app with no real issues that I've noticed. We're seeing more and more micromanagement and it sucks. We recently got notice that we have to install Cisco Duo on our phones if we want to have our email on it. Should i do that? Or just say no and be ok with being out of contact?

Sorry if this is not the right community for this. In the US. I currently have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The air suspension was awesome, but now that it's failing it's driving me crazy so I'm looking for something new. I haul wheelchairs and similarly- sized stuff for work so i need some cargo space. I'd love an SUV with second row captains seats and no third row. Does anyone make that? I'm leaning away from American cars, but can be swayed (my last two cars were Camaro and Jeep). I like things that look a little sporty with little/no chrome, a good amount of hp, and AWD is a plus. I usually drive 10-30 miles per day and get a $60/mo stipend- so about one tank of gas right now. I've browsed the websites for the new 4runner, Outback, Forester, Santa Fe, and a few others. Appreciate any ideas or opinions.
ETA- 6 months ago the dealer wanted $9k to replace the air suspension, so i went to a small Goodyear shop for $6k instead. That shop was bought by brakes plus and they won't honor any warranty. Dropped it at the dealer for diag this morning. Just got a call - $4800. I was expecting $9k. Now I'm on the fix it/trade it fence.
Oops! Friend reported this is not his. When he sent it to me i thought it was original . He was sharing it to me because he thought it was cool. Super kudos to the original artist. Sorry!

I don't really like Grandscape so that's kind of a turn off. It looks cool for a sporting event but I'm sure tickets and concessions are $$$. I would go for a planetarium or nature show if it was reasonably priced.

If you use "they" to describe a nameless group of people and you mean anyone other than The Man (That's how they get you.), you're probably the one who's wrong.
Looking forward to reading some fun exceptions.
You don't realize how weird lyrics are until you try to get an image that reflects them. I tried two Elton John songs in Craiyon and got scary monsters.
“There is an opportunity right now, and we must seize this opportunity,” Jon Polin, whose son is in captivity, told NBC News. “We need to get this done.”
I'm not great at determining when something is AI. Is there an app or community for asking if an image is real or AI?
When i was young I thought my mom's colorful decor was ridiculous. Now I'm old and my kids think I'm ridiculous for wanting colorful everything. Is that a thing?
Not enough to follow them around, but i would see them if they came to town and I'm kind of looking forward to watching the Netflix show when I'm home alone Monday.
