Just in case anyone wasn't aware, Drag created a community on two occasions called Fuck Draconic NEO with multiple posts telling that user to kill themselves and questioning their gender identity.
edit: Sorry, it seems like I completely misread your message. Yeah that's pretty damning if true.
Original message below.
When I was looking into it, and if I recall correctly, one of such occasions involved telling someone to, if they were going to throw their life away, they might as do something meaningful in their death. Not entirely sure what it was. Still big yikes, but that changed context reads slightly differently. And I could see how someone neurodivergent could say that not having ill intent. This was also something that drag apologized for. (And everyone makes mistakes and learns.)
The other occasions / accusation I don't know anything about. But I would employ people to not just believe everything they see said about people, and for others to be ready to back up their claim with sources, such that we don't have to live in uncertainty about what someone has or hasn't done. And usually, if someone hasn't been banned, then I trust moderation when they come to the conclusion that a ban wasn't warranted.
Oh what I'm referring to was nothing like that. Drag was straight up telling the user to kill themselves and such. There was no room for misunderstanding.
I don't have screenshots unfortunately and now the community/user is gone.
@Draconic_NEO@lemmy.dbzer0.com might be able to provide proof (if you're comfortable doing this of course Draconic, no pressure)
Boy, there’s not a whole lot I would like to read less than people giving their opinions on trans furries who use neopronouns. People get just a little too excited about having found the ‘right kind’ of trans person to invalidate, and think that Drag being a troll somehow proves something about neopronouns or nonbinary people.
I’m just gonna keep saying the same thing I’ve been saying since the first post about this: you don’t have to interact with everyone. If you think someone’s pronouns are trolling then report them, block them, and move on with your life.
It seems drag was banned from the site for sharing people's DMs, though I'm sure that's not the whole story, drag has a history of being banned for way more than just the thing on the label. Looking at the comments on drag's home instance where it hasn't been removed, it seems drag was sharing those DMs in attempt to libel Ada for not taking the action drag wanted. That's on top of the fact that she did not give drag permission to share them. It's an asshole move for sure, and I have to say if I were in Ada's shoes I'd do the same.
Ada probably won't ban Moss for anything, since she probably doesn't want to make it seem like she's 'taking control' of 196 against her (Moss') will. She's in a difficult position because people want the current 196 mods to quit squatting and give us the community, but she doesn't want to seem controlling. Which I don't agree with, the purpose of being an instance admin is to have control over the whole instance and to interfere with communities when it's best for the whole instance at large.
