40 0 ReplyTo be clear, the new Health Secretary:
- Is known to pick up roadkill and put it in his car to eat later,
- Has contracted a brain worm from eating under-cooked roadkill,
- Doesn't believe vaccinations work (they do),
- Believes vaccinations cause autism (they don't).
We are looking down the barrel of a HPAI H5N1 epidemic and this is who is going to lead the nation's health systems.

-
Economic Strain on Farmers: Many Iowa farmers depend on subsidies to offset production costs. Without them, smaller farms could struggle to compete, while larger farms might consolidate further[1][6].
-
Shift in Farming Practices: Kennedy has proposed redirecting subsidies toward regenerative agriculture, which could push farmers to adopt new practices. However, transitioning away from commodity crops like corn may be costly and time-intensive[6].
-
Ripple Effects on Local Economies: Rural communities reliant on agriculture could suffer job losses as reduced farm incomes impact local businesses and cooperatives[2][6].
-
Higher Food Prices: Reduced corn production could elevate prices for products dependent on corn, such as livestock feed and processed foods[2].
