In its state Telegram is more of an everything app.
It’ll fail simply because I can just double tap a hardware button to use Apple Pay and there’s NO way Apple will allow X to do that on iPhone. Android is another story altogether.
- iOS does seem to at least allow you to change the contactless payment app now. Probably that's an EU-only feature though.
