US House passes measure that could punish nonprofits Treasury Department decides are ‘terrorist’
Organizations representing nonprofits have condemned this bill, which critics see as a threat to President-elect Donald Trump’s opponents.
As if terrorists are registering as non-profit organizations.
And if a Democrat ever wins again suddenly the NRA is declared a terrorist organization.
They'll never do it, they want to be too Center for that, it's the party of mildism, they are stuck in the ideology of maybe if I tippy toe further torwards republican values we'll gain more republican votes, ignoring the fact that they are leaving their more stronger base behind in the process. It's getting to the point where even more moderate Democrats are starting to question their vote, and ofc extremists have questioned their vote for awhile now.
I would be amazed if the current democratic party was capable of doing anything more severe then maybe just increasing the requirements for background checks.
They'd never do that sadly. Would conflict with their desire to do everything in the name of unity
