A lot of people underestimate what cloudflare does and while it was a massive incident in scale minuscule compared to others recent ones other large companies have had

Cloudflare is a massive cdn, so it's point is to front end traffic not just doing routing.

The problem is to get anything close to cloudflare you'd need massive scale and networking ability.

Like self hosting containers or vms. There's a point you have to go to the cloud

There's not a way to self host what cloudflare does though

And yet a few days ago people chased off someone ranting in a rant comm about cm. Seems more like those advocates for cm can't handle the criticism or anything pointing out logical flaws in the megathread they update

Mostly people who get banned from ml either deserved it, doing good old running into a place shitting on the floor and wondering why they were then banned, or were only banned for a few days not the permanent ones the good instances do
