I'd love to think that a box of duct tape is a standard fixture in the broom closet of engineering.

If you wish to bake a universe, first you must invent the duct tape.
Duct tape, ratchet straps, zip ties and a grease gun. Pump that fucker full of grease and drive it till it catches fire.
Eventually that tape will fail. Gravity and physics never will.
Unless you're in chaotic space.
