Thanks and appreciated. I came over to Lemmy as a 1st round refugee from "the bad place" 3-ish years ago. Was just a lurker/occasional commenter, but decided here to finally put myself out there and test my mettle. It's been a journey and have been otherwise surprised and gladdened by the response to my nonsense. It's because of everyone else's support, really, that have made this come together.

The older set in "Relics" was staged out of reverence to TOS. Consider, however, that the 60's set is that way as a product of budget and available tech. The Enterprise as seen on Strange New Worlds is in all likelihood what we'd see if Star Trek first appeared in 2022. A product of its time. Not necessarily bad, just different.
