It's tragic how many terrible things that President "Smokin' Diamond" Joe Biden has had to allow to pass because there simply isn't enough of a majority to overcome GOP opposition to everything. If only there were some common-sense bills could be passed, with bipartisan support, then maybe we could remember that this country is already great, mend the divide, and get back on track.

This primary season it's critical to ensure that any candidate you vote for is pro-NATO.
Some of the more tankie members of the progressive caucus may not be openly pro-NATO, so make sure you do your research in case you need to vote for a real American in these districts.
Remember that it's critical to criticize, but don't call for reform of, the Supreme Court.
If we lose ourselves to radical positions like court expansion imagine if it's ever used against us in the future.
The only way to defeat fascism is at the ballot box. Republicans won't be able to sustain this long term, so long as we don't push for radical progressive policies (like healthcare entitlements or climate reform) we won't lose the critical white suburban voters who delivered us Joe Biden in 2020.
The most important thing we can do is to remind true-blooded Americans that no one slowed the rate of middle and lower class spending power decline as quickly as Joe Biden. (Sanity side note- if you're ever in a position where you're forced to use the second derivative of spending power as a talking point it's already over)
It's time to highlight leaders cut from the same cloth. It's time to rally behind Buttigieg 2028.

Police should be allowed at pride, leather daddies not so much. As a cishet ally it is my job to maintain the tone of queer groups so they don't come across as weird to the homophobes.
J.K. Rowling's abuse at the hands of trans activists is another such thing that I object to, sure she's been campaigning against the rights of trans people, and sure her supporters are violent bigots including members of the EDL but we have to be civil about these things.
I'm as left as they come, but I don't think focusing on trans issues is worth it for any progressive politician. Trans people are only a small percentage of the population, so most people won't care their problems and they can't form a large voting bloc.
And honestly, most people are alienated by the extreme actions of trans activists. There's more nuance to this issue that can't be condensed into a simple slogan like ”trans rights are human rights”. J.K. Rowling has had some valid points, but has been unfairly silenced by the trans rights mob. Sure, last week she may have retweeted some anti-trans opinions by that guy who had a Nazi flag banner and the 14 words in his bio, but we all make mistakes.
I've seen enough sensationalized, cherry-picked headlines to know that there's a real problem with offering ”gender-affirming care” to children. I also learned about the issue from a YouTuber who looks at it from a woman's rights perspective; I know some of you are already wanting to childishly slander her by saying she's a TERF, but you should really check out her videos. I know the more moderate liberals (because we're liberals too at the end of the day) can sometimes be a bit overzealous about China and Russia, but that's no reason to go around repeating propaganda and denying the established facts. Yes I'm a progressive. Yes I believe that Xi Jinping has personally eaten 10,000,000 children since taking power. There's no contradiction there. On the contrary, being a progressive is impossible without a firm commitment to truth.

Truthfully, I don't support either the excesses of capitalism or the austere brutality of communism. I think socialism, as successfully implemented by Nordic countries, is the most viable way of creating a healthy society. We can convince communism nations, through economic sanctions, to give up their positions and they will realize our position is the most practical one. Currently capitalist countries can be steadily reformed over time to reach this goal.
Look, I'm as far left as they come (discounting crazy tankies such as Vaush), but I don't really harbor any sympathy for Palestinians. Seeing how authoritarianism and hatred for Jews is on the rise again, I think it's better to side with the people that believe in the democratic process, progressive values, and don't want to commit a genocide. Especially since the Palestinian "resistance" is financially and militarily backed by theocratic, authoritarian, antisemitic regimes such as Iran, Lebanon, Syria under Assad (and by proxy Russia)? They'd just set up sharia law in Israel and prosecute another Holocaust if they could. Of course, the Palestine "activists" overlook not only these self-evident facts, but also ignore the many times Israel has offered a peaceful settlement only to have the Arabs slap the olive branch from their hands and senselessly kill Jews in terror attacks.
