Yup! It's what finally made me stop watching twitch (embarrassing, I know, I'm more of a gamer than I like to admit). Minutes of unskippable ads, way too often, and no adblocker could get rid of them. The best I could find was a twitch redirect that would block the ad, but it couldn't give you the content back, so when the ads happened the stream would just go dark until they were over. I decided enough was enough and I haven't gone on twitch since. I'm mentally preparing to do the same with youtube if and when they succeed in breaking adblockers. Which is going to absolutely suck, I watch a lot of youtube, but maybe it'll actually be a good thing and I'll be on the internet less.
This actually hasn't been true for several patches now. The slur filter is no longer hard-coded, but instead is customizable on an instance-to-instance basis. This change sure doesn't stop people from complaining about the (nonexistent) "hard-coded slur filter" though!
Oh yeah? I guess I see it now, but I dunno, I've been so inundated with lib shit the past week or so I definitely thought it was really a post by a very confused liberal. Glad to hear it's not actually a real post!
See, I thought it was the other way around. The problems (racism, sexism, queerphobia, people not having healthcare or housing or food or...) are bad, but the causes (the economic system, capitalism) are very good.
Who knows, really? It's a tweet by someone heavily invested in the current status quo, that much is clear
I'd urge you to consider the fact that we are explicitly, radically pro-trans. Our mod team is over half trans people and our userbase heavily skews that direction as well. I myself am trans. And I'm a communist, partially because of the experiences I've had as a trans person living under neoliberalism. I didn't start out as a communist, I slowly drifted that way as a result of learning, specifically learning more history. I'll recommend the podcast Blowback here, I think all 3 seasons are really good, well-researched, informative, and entertaining. They give a lot of context to various US actions abroad and it's a very approachable podcast. Season 4 is coming out soon and I can't wait!
Also, check out Cuba's family code if you want an example of a communist country being extremely socially progressive. It's cool and good!
I really thought we were going to get to the end and have a "wait, im american, this is america". Because the places I know that have infrastructure literally collapsing are all in the US. I can think of a parking garage, an apartment/condo building, and an interstate off the top of my head.

I think they may be serious, unfortunately
Hmm, it looks like you've run afoul of a couple of rules. Please consult the Proper Posting Bulletin for more information
I wish all landlords a very
Agreed wholeheartedly.
It's actually wild because as I've started presenting more masculine and really embraced those parts of myself, my visceral disgust of femininity has all but disappeared. You could argue (and I indeed would) that my internalized misogyny has actually lessened by embracing a more masculine way of presenting myself.
Femininity is cool and good, it just isn't for me, and that's fine!
Did you read paragraph 8 of your link?
A quick search turns these two up, I swear we have more somewhere though
Edit: found a couple of quokkas, which aren't quite capybaras, but are still pretty cute
