I'm starting to think that RAtM was a bit optimistic with "some" in this one.
- I don't know. I don't necessarily believe that a majority of police are white supremacists. I do believe that the vast majority are complicit in the behavior of their worst offenders, though. If they aren't willing to call out corruption among themselves, then they are at least corruption-adjacent.

While cops and white supremacists often being on the same side is a major factor, white supremacists are also absolute cowards in the face of authority and will immediately back down like the little bitches they are.

I was at a protest once right around after Trump was elected, a counter protestor came up within minutes of our arrival and started screaming expletives at us. The police immediately got involved to protect him from us.

- There was an issue of the number of them present at the time compared to the number of insurrectionists but they did shoot one dead.
