  • It's because they are all compulsive liars.

  • A cool guide to vehicles with the most DUIs
  • It is likely a bit of selection bias by cops as well. They target the rich jerks because of the expensive eye catching cars and the truck assholes because they are big and drien bynyokels.

The drunken Camry crew is out there just blending in.

  • The justices of the supreme court ruled that Trump was immune and effectively above the law while being president. What is now stopping Biden from bringing a gun to the next debate?
  • He can just pardon himself if he shoots Trump because he has immunity when issuing the pardon, since that is an official act.

  • What's stopping him?
  • Every member of congress that was part of the attempt to overthrow rhe election is an insurrectionist and should be detained or in jail by now.

  • What's stopping him?
  • Dissolving congress isn't an executive branch power. Congress can just ignore something like that.

The president can't just will that kind of a thing into existence.

  • "...Negroid, Caucasoid and Mongoloid..."

Holy shit man, we already suspected you were promoting some racist bullshit, but you didn't have to lean into it harder.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • The ruling explicitly states that those things on the record are not admissible if they were not through some public form of communication. So his phone call to the Georgia governor would be inadmissible even though it is currently public knowledge since it was originally a private call he claims was official business.

His public tweets would be admissible.

  • Is my girlfriend gaslighting me? (Edit: No, she is not gaslighting me, but may have some other issues.)
  • My question is, am I really responsible if someone kidnaps her between getting off the Uber and getting into our apartment complex?

Only if you were involved in the kidnapping, like paying them to do it.

Is she trying to guilt trip me into thinkg her anger is justified or am I really a horrible, kidnap-facillitating bad person for missing a few texts?

She is trying to guilt trip you for missing her text by using emotionally ever the top hyperbole which is not gaslighting. Gaslighting requires intentionally lying about something that did not happen to make you question your own experience.

  • I'm bringing chili
  • The only smartphones I have used are androids and know for sure that after the call goes to voicemail you can click on the call for more options and and block the number. Not sure if it gives the option during the call unless it suspects it is spam. I just double checked on a number that wasn't in my contacts.

May not be available on every model, but every one I have owned had the block option.

  • US Supreme Court rules Trump has immunity for official, not private acts
  • He can be charged for private acts, but as long as he used official communication to discuss it with others that can't be used as evidence. Then the stacked courts get to decide what is official and private, so private is effectively immune as well.

    What a fucking shitshow.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • Prior presidents have done all kinds of shady shit without worrying about prosecution. Even the angry orange didn't get charged until he tried to overthrow an election.

There was zero reason to even decide this case except to give immunity to someone who blatantly abuses their authority.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • The SCOTUS majority just decided that nothing the president does is illegal, at least in a way that can ever be prosecuted.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • Yeah, but that law requires intent and all that evidence you mentioned can be thrown out.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • Citizens United was the first step to make it blatantly legal by being able to hide donations in a way that makes make it easy to give money directly to candidates from any source, foreign and domestic.

Then that "it was a gratuity, not a bribe" ruling last week means anyone can just buy off politicians in the open.

So as of this morning it is legal for a foreign country to bribe the president to have someone assassinated.

  • Trump is “absolutely” immune for “official acts” on Jan 6th, SCOTUS rules
  • But he won't, and neither will any Dem presidents, which is what the right wing SCOTUS is counting on.

  • Right-Wing Supreme Court Rules Trump Has 'Absolute Immunity' for Official Acts
  • Biden won't abuse this power because he isn't a complete trash person and SCOTUS knows it. They know that the only party that will abuse this power is the Republican party.

So until this trash opinion is undone, every single election is an imminent threat to democracy.
