I think if we want something like that to be consistent everywhere we need to stop using Ctrl so much as a modifier for non-terminal tasks. It doesn't solve everything, but using Alt or Super for copy and paste like Haiku and MacOS do is a big step in the right direction. It's just hard to change an established custom without making the whole experience less consistent

Isn't this the second time this exact thing has happened?

Playing a fairly calm game like stardew valley or ets2 while watching a recorded lecture actually seems to work really well for me. I probably don't remember quite as much as if I was just watching the lecture and paying close attention, but it keeps me from getting too distracted so I can actually manage to watch more of the lecture

If it was starbucks it would be like cramplestiltskin size or something not medium

I just hate the summer, fall is fine here but I'd rather it be colder all the time in exchange for not being incredibly hot in the summer

Is the south as cold as like the northern US? I currently live in the mid-atlantic US but if I could actually afford to move I think I would want somewhere a little colder than where I am now

Honestly the biggest thing is just READ WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN. So many people just refuse to read when the computer is literally telling them exactly how to resolve a problem

I feel like if someone else has had physical access to the computer though secure boot isn't going to really protect you. It could have a hardware keylogger in it now for all you know. I mean that's probably unlikely, but is it really that much more unlikely than someone sneakily replacing kernel modules and things instead of just installing user mode malware that secure boot wouldn't catch?

I have still yet to see a good argument for why anyone needs secure boot, I went to a talk about it at a conference this summer and if anything it made me like it less

I am like on the very edge of buying stuff to try to learn to shoot and develop film. I'm not a good photographer, it is going to be so expensive, but for some reason it's a skill I keep wanting to learn for like years

Is there no way to play roblox currently? I thought there was a launcher that did weird stuff to the android version like we have for minecraft bedrock
