I still don't get this I don't think I've ever accidentally pressed it while playing a game, and I am someone who constantly presses every wrong key while typing

Presumably they lower the pressure to boil the water instead of raising the temperature, I imagine to save power

The only things I've encountered that don't work are webusb things and snapchat but snapchat you can just change user agent and it's fine.

I mean to be fair I feel like various body modifications have always existed and probably will always exist. At most this will probably just look dated once everyone moves onto wanting spiky foreheads or something instead of bigger boobs

Interesting, I don't think I've ever seen a laptop where it was soldered.

Also keep in mind that laptop wifi cards are usually easily replaceable, so if you end up with that being the only problem it's usually cheap and easy to solve

I spent a couple hours setting up niri a month or two ago, and it works really well, but I just couldn't quite convince myself that the way it works is a way computers should work, so I only used it for like half a day. I feel like I should like it, but it's just so strange

This is why I use fish, it's weird and not posix compliant, but its autocomplete and history stuff saves so much time it's worth it

My oled phone from 2021 started slowly developing vertical lines of bad pixels this year and has some burn in on the status bar area. It's still usable, but definitely kind of annoying and a lot worse than the status of the lcd on the older phone it replaced.
