I also started Cloudpunk only briefly and then somehow lost the desire, but was not the game but simply the time when I started it. Maybe I'll look at it again in the fall
By day, I'm a corporate puppet, lost in the shadows of suits and ties. But when night descends, I shed my corporate skin, becoming a edgerunner, the cyberpunk maestro.
Through MiniDiscs, my music empowers Edgerunners, rebels against the megacorps. I collect both MiniDiscs and cyberpunk RPGs, living and breathing the essence of the genre.
Taaa-daaa, https://dataterm.digital/c/cyberpunk :)
If you want, I'll be happy to make you a mod there - you "unfortunately" have to make a post there first!
Unfortunately, I suffer from the problem that I always overdo it a little.
When we play over the net then mostly over Discord. I have created a bot which has a shopping system, karma system, banking system. And of course the basic function of dice rolling.
This is very high maintenance and I wouldn't recommend it :D
Mostly I split my screen to show the maps, I moved the chars with Affinity Photo, please don't judge me :D
It's nothing wild, in the background is a CMS as a framework on which I then build the plugins. Currently I have a small break to continue to create it but I think in the fall I will start again - I also plan to make it public so that everyone can host it themselves :)
The team consists of LGBTQIA+ friendly people, we want to offer a safe community for all who are a little cyberpunky - that can be nerds, geeks, programmers, gamers, creative people, all who swim a little beyond the mainstream.
I have to admit, at first glance it's not really clear if it's a cyberpunk-only community or not, I'll adjust that a bit.
The origin of the Lemmy instance comes from our CORTEX IMPLANT community which is cyberpunk-themed (all kinds of cyberpunk - also friends of technology).
But feel free to create communities here, almost any kind (as long as they follow the rules - our rules are very simple, it shouldn't be anything that offends others) :)
Not currently, we don't have that many users on our instance here. We already probably very niche! If we find any challenges here, we will of course find a way to overcome them as we did with our Mastodon instance :)
A guide sounds good, I'll put it on my to-do list! "Somehow" I have not quite figured it out yet, it is possible even without DATATERM account to still use our Lemmy instance, I'll look again how that works :D What works is to enter the URL of posts e.g. at our Mastodon or Misskey instance into the search to reply to posts.
