It's possible some instances implement alt text differently, i.e., implement an AI or bot that parses the text (I think blusky does?), but I personally have been writing my own alt text. Hopefully it encourages more folks to do it when possible :)

genuine question, because I try to include alt text for those that need it: is it better to transcribe exactly as written or correct typos, even if they're part of the joke?

I don't want alt text peeps to miss out on a funny, but I'm thinking for screen readers, it might interpret "worht" weird.

I kinda wish I had bought one when they were clearing them out, even if I would've hated it. I hope Valve releases another version at some point. I have to imagine they will, given the success of the Deck.

I'm playing through Control now and haven't encountered that (fun game btw!), so methinks it's Quantum Break you're thinking of.

I agree with you, though. Sometimes I have to step away for whatever reason and end up missing something because I can't pause.
