Thank God. The VR library was just horrible. I'll have to check it out.
Exact same thing here. I was stuck for years because no internet and I didn't figure out I needed to ask Boos for his keys. Then a friend got a hint book which unblocked me. I still loved the game even back when I was stuck lol. The atmosphere, the music (man, the music!), the weirdness. Love that game.
I mean, generally speaking, sending pikemen against a people famous for riding horses sounds smart to me lol
Yeah, I'm all for privacy, but I actually get interesting things recommended by YouTube. If I turn this off won't I just get random YouTube videos? No thanks. I also do use my watch history for "I watched it the other day, what was that video called again?"
I love Next Fest, I usually end up wishlisting like 3-10 games. Lots of good stuff that I'd never know or care about otherwise.
The dialogue in Oxenfree is crazy, never seen anything else like that.
I know a guy on an old forum who claimed most of his dreams were lucid. I do believe that if you're able to cultivate the right level of awareness and the right mindset it is possible.
I believe the trick is mindfulness meditation. How can we expect to get lucid at night when we're going through our waking lives in auto-pilot? If we practice being here and now and being aware of the nature of our reality, that mindset will sooner or later be a part of our lives, both waking and dreaming.
Long, thought out posts with replies that consist solely of something like "you're*"
The beatings aren't improving morale, you say? I guess we just need to increase the beatings then.
Slipways. Very well made space puzzle game. This game really surprised me.
Also, hidden gems thread... feels just like home :)
I remember seeing this a long time ago, if I'm not going crazy. Weren't there many more layers to it? "...drawing myself drawing myself drawing myself..."
RIP RIF. I'm another one who used it 99% of the time. I'm glad I found kbin and I'm mostly over reddit, but I'm not over RIF. Thank you for all those years. Fuck you u/spez for destroying the site I've been a part of for almost 10 years... in a single week.
There's nothing else like it, even in its current early access state. Can't wait to see where they go with it.
I say let's not even give them a chance. We owe them nothing.
Thank you for all those years, RIF. This is bullshit, man.
1899 has already been mentioned, so I'll say that Westworld deserved a final season.
Maybe it's silly, but i love that I haven't seen a single one-word reply such as "*their".
EDIT: omg, what about those infinite threads of "this" or forced puns? Haven't seen those either (and I love bad puns, but those usually contributed very little)
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by personal instance? Only you use it? I'm wondering what reasons someone would have a personal instance. Or maybe like a group for friends only?
Hi! I posted a link to a magazine I created and someone asked me to add a link for people on Lemmy to be able to join.
EDIT: In case someone comes here looking for an answer, This guide helped me
"A lucid dream is a type of dream in which the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming while dreaming. During a lucid dream, the dreamer may gain some amount of control over the dream characters, narrative, or environment"
I've created a place to discuss lucid dreaming, but feel free to discuss related subjects as well, such as non-lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, dream journaling, dream signs, dream symbolism, sleep, consciousness, and so on.

This guy creates drawings in his lucid dreams, then wakes up and recreates them. Very cool stuff. (His website)
Sometimes I draw simple sketches in my dream journal, but nothing like this. Seems like a pretty fun and interesting thing to try out.
