I know this is pedantic, but that's a cross, not a crucifix. The difference is that a crucifix has jesus on it.

This is so real, I swear to god. I joke about how neurotic I am about housework, and my house is always pristine, but still my worst nightmare is someone stopping by unexpectedly. My house can be spick and span and I'll still apologize for the state of it.

Yeah, I'd get the shingles vax in a heartbeat, but I've gotta wait another 6 years. Meanwhile I know several people who developed shingles in their forties and have lingering issues from it (particularly ophthalmic). The vaccine needs to be tested and approved for younger adults. But I doubt that'll happen. They'll just wait until those of us who got chicken pox as a kid are old enough for the shingles vaccine, and who cares if we get shingles in the meantime!

It depends what you mean by "thick" and "thin." If by "thick" you mean that the individual hair strands are coarse rather than fine, then yes, that kind of hair can be more resistant to this kind of damage. But if by "thick" you mean you have a lot of hair (high density) as opposed to sparser hair (low density), that doesn't mean much one way or another because it's the coarseness/fineness of the hairs that really matters.

Either way, it makes sense to be gentle with your hair if you're interested in having it look nice.
